- Amy| 3 repliesI have just called google and they told me they are a registered company that can advertise google ads etc
- Not Happy replies to AmyThats funny, because when I spoke to Google, EBS are not approved to sell on there behalf or sell advertising space. As I have now discovered, its really not that easy to just 'buy' a space on the front page! EBS, are crooks. There maybe an element of a business about them, but they failed to promote my company and drive any business through my webpage. A lot of money down the drain. As of yet, nearly 5 months on, I have had no response from the website, yet I paid for first page advertising. They (finally) provided me with a report with loads of numbers to show how many hits I had, yet when I went to website provider the figures were very different, and showed I had only a few hits compared with there 1000+ hits that they showed in the report. I have now taken matters further and reported to appropriate authorities who I believe are investigating EBS marketing and its parent company PNP Media. I have been warned that they will try to contact me again to pursue more money, and they will try various ways to succeed, so be very cautious.
Stay clear of such companies and do your homework first, in fact if you use Google Adwords and Adsense, it works out a lot cheaper and they actually will help drive people straight to your website as I am now discovering. Its a bit of a no brainer really, use the people that run the web to promote for you, how can an outside company do a better job then Google for an example?
Hopefully, this lot will get exposure on a program like Watchdog at least, for their very lucrative scam! - Not Happy replies to AmyPS. Do you work for EBS by any chance?
- EbsisTERRIBLE replies to Dave ward| 1 replyThey also use false names. Don't believe a word from any of the managing directors. They use false names to cover their tracks. I know of about 3 different ones Zishaan Mazoor goes under. He's also the biggest hypocrite going.
Biggest crooks going. Taking innocent peoples money without a care and then trapping people in a web of deceit and lies. I urge people to report them to Google and the Manchester Trading Standards agency. - EbsisTERRIBLE replies to EbsisTERRIBLEIt might also be worth noting that it seems any negative reviews they try to hide and get rid of. Look at the base of each page on google - "legal action" has had certain pages removed because of a cease and desist order. Despicable and full on hypocrites! Where is freedom of speech and customer protection?
- Jasmine| 1 replyHi
I also was called by EBS, who said exactly what has been mentioned above. I didn't realise it was EBS until they sent me an email asking to e-sign an agreement.
I immediately googled them and found this thread. I asked for a refund the next day and didn't sign the agreement.
As I haven't received the services and was misled, I should be entitled to a refund, but of course they refuse!- Caller: EBS

- Ripped off by EBS MarketingEBS Marketing are the biggest scammers out there. Those of you that have been entrapped by their lies, you are not alone! Their facebook page is another example of censorship. I posted many times asking for someone to contact me, after the telephone number they provided in both their emails and letters failed to work
All I received was my comments deleted for questioning them and then banning from the page. crooks!
What's wrong EBS? Scared people will see the negative comments and your business will get shut down?
You took my money and did not a sausage with it. You take other peoples money and do nothing with it. So who's the liar here? The company that hundreds have an issue with, or are the hundreds complaining liars too?- Caller: Ebs marketing

- Graham| 1 replyThese people called me on a very bad line on 16 Jan. 2014 creating the impression that they were representatives of Google.
The deal was a 30-day Ad-Word campaign to promote my site on the front page of Google. I gave them my card details to start the campaign.
They were supposed to discuss my business personally and suggest a list of search items before the campaign started but did not do so. I contacted my bank and discovered that they had taken not £120 as discussed but £144. It was then I discovered they were not representatives of Google at all but a Manchester firm called ESB Marketing. This was a firm I had not heard of and which was not mentioned in any of the conversations I had with them. On speaking to my bank, I decided to cancel my current card to prevent further withdrawals from my account.
Unfortunately, the initial sum of £144 was not redeemable, because I had authorised the payment by given them my verification code.
They sent me an email containing details of the package. Since I had already forfeited the £144, I decided that I would allow them to launch the "campaign". This meant signing an electronic agreement and receiving an electronic certificate.
I was not happy with the terms of the agreement, which seemed pretty inscrutable to me, so I contacted ESB for assurances which they were ready to give. They said it was a standard, run-of-the-mill contract, so I needn't be concerned. I signed digitally. Looking recently, I discover that all details of the package have been “electronically “ deleted.
Although they had promised to contact me at the end of the campaign with results of its success, they did not do so. Instead,I received a call (on my answer phone) on 24th February, asking me to contact them urgently. Thinking this was a report of my campaign success and an invitation to continue the campaign, I called "Laura". She made it clear that since the campaign had "rolled over", another £180 was due, which EBS could jot collect because I had cancelled my card. In the end I terminated the conversation.
Since then, I have given full details of later developments to my bank and contacted Trading Standards and sent a letter by recorded delivery to ESB In Manchester.- Caller: EBS Marketing

- undercover replies to Grahamlucky for you that card was cancelled beware of the names i am going to give you the list are staff who have been selling this product.the staff have convictions for fraud now work for EBS
the staff names will be given shortly - Angry personI have been contacted numerous times by this company (EBS Marketing), they are a total con, they will bully you into taking your money. They took mine and are still hounding me over a year later for more. They have no intention of providing any advertising for you. Google them and see that the internet is full of complaints about them. Reports need to be made to police, trading standards and action fraud. How this is still going on baffles me! However if we keep spreading the word, and going to the small claims courts, we will not be sitting back doing nothing. I will be contacting watchdog about this company, but strength is in numbers , somebody mentioned they contacted Your Money Their Tricks.
please be aware. this is a total scam- Caller: ebs Marketing

- UndercoverMore and more just keeps coming out. People beware! James Barker the so called manager of this scam operation. This is the scum I was following and his actions/dealings have been passed to the local authorities and investigations are being ran. We know everyone and everything, our 18 hour footage captured the daily routine in this scam operation. Watchdog has been informed, and it is only a matter of time. EBS Manchester would be closed down for the Google scams. Employees with prison sentences and cocaine dealings within the premises, is also noted and submitted.
EBS Staff are being warned, HMRC know you exist, and will be investigating now. It wont be long before the staff are eligible to pay big TAX fee's!
I will keep you all posted.- Caller: Ebs manchester
