Constant hangups from "LBM Direct Marketing"

Got on their website, called their "Customer Services" (joke!!!) number and followed an automated system that should remove me from their list.
Will be interested to see if they take any notice.

The caller told me she was ringing on behalf of More Than Insurance, this did coincide with a letter I have just recently received from More Than. I didn't offer any information though and said I would contact them if I wanted a quote. (Just to be on the safe side)

I keep getting calls from this number and would like them to cease immediately!!!

they keep winging and i have only had this number a few months how do they get numbers?

i've been abroad all week and they haven't stopped calling!!

Received 3 x calls no message ever left, when call back it is engaged.. 1 call did go through to voice mail but just silence..

2 calls every day to my 80 year old disabled mothers house. Causes her a lot of upset and difficulty trying to get to the phone. This is shambolic.

I get calls to mt mobile from these every day and another 0800 number which is the same company. If i ever answer it and someone is on the other end im going to set an air horn off down their ear !!!

Some scripted call handler asked me 'Who handles the electricity requirements for your business' - my mobile is a personal account, I dont run a business and do they honestly think I am going to give them these details over the phone!

Have received 3 missed calls from these idiots in a 2 day period. I am about to register my mobile number with the Telephone Preference Service to stop future calls.

I have rung Ofcom on 02079813040 and complained about these calls. They were VERY pleased to take my details & complaint, & advised me that the more  complaints they get, the greater the chance they can impose fines on these companies.

If you are annoyed about these calls please phone Ofcom & complain.

I have had a couple of missed call no that I have not picked up (purley not avaliable at the time).
Just googled the number & ended up here! Glad I didn't ring the number back.
Only thing is my landline & mobile numbers have been registered with TPS for over a year now. So why are tehy ringing me??

My first call so far from 01612 178400 at 4.30pm today. I also get regular calls from 02031034000 and 02071501599. I never answer my phone anymore, because I get more of these spam calls than anything else. I just wait for it to stop ringing, then dial 1471 and if it's a number I recognise I can call them back.

Recieved two calls, one to mobile other to unlisted home phone number.

Received few calls from this number. I guess is from More Than insurance as mentioned above. I have recently searched for car insurance and tried with More Than giving my details. Due to the quote being astronomical I decided not to sign-up. Found cheaper insurance elsewhere. I therefore ask these people to stop calling me and wasting my time...

Had 3 x calls over last 3 days. Just havent been around to answer but when I see this number again, I wont bother. Thank you everyone for the advice on here.

Argh! how frustrating, I was waiting to hear back from a job I applied for that has a similar area code and have been panicking trying to get hold of them as they left a blank voicemail...
Turns out to be this stupid company! Cant wait to actually speak to them I'm gonna give them such a telling off!

I have had a call every day for the last 3 days, which i haven't answered in time. I am actually in Australia at the moment so it would cost me to answer! Has anyone actualy answered a call yet? who are these people? and how did they get my number?!

I have just done a "1471" on my Vodafone mobile and this 01612178400 number appeared.

Called me 16April09 @ 1918h.
