phones up once a day at roughly the same time(4.30ish pm) . Answer machine cuts in but who ever they are leave no message. Starting to get very annoying now.

Claimed to be on behalf of FedEx regarding our account, fair enough.  Went on to query our collection address due to numerous complaints about innaccuracy, also true.  However the address she read back to me, whilst one of our former premesis, is not our default collection address anyway.  Informed them that the accounts department have our correct address (all our invoices are being delivered correctly) so should pull the details from that department.

Keep phone the house and then my moblie phone.

Exactly the same thing has been happening to us. The phone rings and when you answer it the phone caller hangs up. We get them during the day!

been getting calls every 20 mins from these people. they now claim to be giving away brand new smart phones for vodaphone. they just want a bank account umber and sort code to verify i.d.
I think I might give it a miss!

Interesting thing is, they havent called since I've been back!!!

Called me constantly last week while I was abroad. Answered it once to tell them I was out of the country and to stop calling! They didn't stop. Checked my bill when I got home and it has cost ME £13.50!!!! Not happy! Interesting though, that they haven't called since I got back....??

This person rings and must hang up straight away.
I've tried to ring them back but it just keeps coming up with an engaged tone.
I would very much like to know who these people are to tell them to please stop.
My very dear husband has just passed away and at the moment I can't deal with this number constantly pestering me.

these f*****g people really irritate me! my son was having a nap just to be woken by the phone ringing, so i answer and no one even speaks?! just hangs up on me. what the hell, if these people are going to call, atleast speak so i can give them a peice of my mind!!!

I get a call from 01612178400 on average twice a week if you pick up it is a continuous tone, if you ring back you get an automated message saying there is a fault on the line.  I find these calls intimidating and threatening.  As a vunerable person I would like the authorities to intervene.

Missed calls from this number started appearing on my phone when one of my insurance policies was due for renewal. Now that my renewal deadline has passed the calls have stopped. Almost certainly sales related.

They have rung me tens of tines so today they got a little piece of my mind quick ended with the words F**k off lol I hope they understand!

0161 217 8400 phones my business number twice a day, variable as to time.
I have just cancelled one insurance and taken another (from Admiral to Direct line), but don't know of any other changes.
They never leave a message, so far I haven't been in to take it.
Unlikely to be anything serious, otherwise by now they would have left details.

I've also had repeated calls from 0161 217 8400. There is never anybody there when I answer and they don't leave any message when the answerphone is on.

I recently switched to a phone provider (Vonage VoIP) that gives Caller ID free, so I have now set my phone system to automatically reject such calls. Hopefully that will be the end of this annoyance!

It never rang long enought for me to pick it up.  Went online to find the area code and ended up on this website.  Hope they dont call again.

Several cals from this no. Automated message no one ever speaks. Infuriating. Not a way to get business. All they do is  alienate people
