Called today, claimed to be Esure insurance enquiring about an accident I had 2 years ago. Became quite annoyed when I refused to confirm my identity or give any details. Then told me that it was regarding a quote I had enquired about with Esure. I told them I would only deal with my own insurance company. He hung up.

Been having phone calls off this number to both mobile and house phone saying that we have a claim in progress and that they need additional details. Husband told them to B******* as we have had no claim or accident in the car registration they were on about, what was very worrying though was that they had got all our details, the vans reg number as well as the cars, all our phone numbers name and address. Very worrying.

sent an email to nomorecalls@chameleon-finance.co.uk to get my number off, have'nt had any more since.

I've received calls today.  Just emailed to remove my number from database and to confirm where they got my number from.  I always tick the box on things to say my details can't be sold to third parties and my number is ex-directory.  What else do you have to do to ensure you're not pestered at home?!

This individual also uses 01612494490 - supposedly Auto Direct. I checked with Auto Direct, it's nothing to do with them.

This number called me today, said they were Group Direct, knew my name and wanted to talk to me about a car accident I was involved in in August. I haven't been in a car accident and told them that twice, forcefully. They said they had a problem with their system and would erase my details. Hope to not hear from them again.

I keep getting these calls after typing all my car and claim details into several websites claiming to search all the insurers for the best quotes a few weeks ago looking for insurance on my car - could this be where they are getting all the personal details from?

I have had two calls from this number today - the line goes dead when I answer. I have recently submitted a household insurance claim and, from what other users have written on this forum, I now wonder if this is connected.

If you want to stop the calls then email nomorecalls@chameleon-telesales.co.uk. there is a automatic method on the options but I never trust these so opt for email.  I spoke to a Manager the other day about being called and concerned where they had got my details. By the end of the call i'd realised that they were working for eCar which I use. We also discussed about this site which she knew about and explained that they are working hard to rectify this issue. But also pointed out that there is alot of incorrect info on here. For instance they don't  do any work for esure and are not based in India. Since the call I found out that a work friend had used this company and they helped him claim so give it some thought as it may be useful.

Just had a call - picked it up but line went dead.

I had a call from this number, I entered it into google and saw all these messages. I called the number and got a really bad messaging system that asked me if i wanted my number removed. I went through the steps and am hoping it has beeen removed.
I also used moneysupermarket.com  WONT be using them again.

They left a few messages on my ansa machine but when i called them back I had a great experience with them as they successfully got me compensation for my car crash injuries - give them a try cos it worked for me

I asked for just two insurance quotes recently and consequently I'm plagued by these people:

Compare the Market.com  and esure.

So one of those two have sold my details.....
