They have been calling me for several days now, from 01612*494491
so I answered my mobile out of curiosity today!
They asked to speak to my husband and when I asked why they quoted data protection, then asked ME for a contact number for him!! They represented themselves as Autofix or something like that.

I refused to give them my husbands details but stupidly told them to ring tomorrow night when he might be available, but of course we won't be answering now.
How stupid to quote data protection then request DATA!!

I also think they took our details from compare the market because when we were taking quotes for the car in my husbands name I put my mobile number down. Incidenlty we also got hit from behind a few years ago on a motorway and only claimed for vehicle damage.... Wonder if we are on their whip lash list! Hmmm

I have had this number calling me for weeks now and never leaving a message on my machine so today I rang them back and was told they are called Auto Net and they were calling to speak to my husband about an accident he had.  I asked him if they were talking about personal injury from the car accident and he said yes so I told him the claim was settled and he had already received his payout.  The guy said he would update his system and that should stop the calls, so fingers crossed!!

0161 2494491 this number has been calling us on and off for at least the last four weeks and to honest we have been getting a little fed up with hearing from them. When I googled the number it led me here.
We have paid BT to have their Premium Feature, Anonymous Calls Reject, so now we can see who is calling. All their operators appear to have an Indian accent and it is very difficult to understand them. When they called yesterday as soon as they started to speak my husband launched into a series of but, but, but, this went on for about five minutes, they then called us back at least five times yesterday evening and every time my husband answered them with a continious stream of but, but, but, but: even making a song out of it.
Hopefully they have now got the message and will no longer waste their time and money calling us, at first they found it funny saying they couldn't understand my husband's dailect, this soon turned to frustration then anger, they eventually hung up.
So do the but, but song and pass it on and hopefully they'll get the butt of the joke.

these people not onlty phoned me but phoned my husband on his work mobile to contact me!!!

My husband thought l was in finacial trouble so you could imagine the atmosphere in our house!

I received a call from 0161 2494497 earlier, asking to speak to Mr ***. This is my father. I asked what it was regarding, and they said it was about an insurance matter. When I asked where they got my number the man was very short with me, and snapped 'well, is he available or not?' when I told him the person he was asking for was my father. I am very confused as to why they would call my mobile and ask to speak to my father, as he would never list my number as his contact number etc and I have called him to confirm this. I may email them to find out exactly where they receive their data from, before I request to be removed from their database.

ive recently had a call from 0161 2494491 and it is from a company called action claims and the guy i spoke to was called nathan.

keep getting calls from this number, female wishes to speak to my partner re an 'incident' he had on his motorbike. My partner has had no incident or accident, She only wishes to speak to my partner. When he rang back, a male answered who said that his computer had crashed and asked to ring back on my partners mobile. No call as yet received, but they now have his mobile number! Be careful with these people. I have no idea how they got hold of our home number which should be withheld......

this number is from a compensation company and have been very useful to me, I was helped and got 1900 quid in compo for an accident i had 2 years ago, for whiplash ans sore back. don't dish these guys. very helpful to me
