got a call from this number today and three weeks ago, asking
for a person who live in another street in this area, on dialling
the number i got a reply for T(h)ameside Insulation.

I got a call this afternoon from the above number. The caller hung up when I answered. I dialled 1471 to retrieve the number and yes it was 337 2280. I rang the number and I got through to an automated message for Tameside Insulation. Funnily enough, I received a call from them yesterday evening asking me about a loft insulation grant. I declined!!

I am really fed up of getting calls about insulation to my loft - I have told them on various occasions I am not interested and am not eligible for a grant. Why have they got my number anyway? I am registered with TPS so surely should not be receiving cold calls?

Came home today to 5 missed calls from this number today alone.

Also registered with the TPS.

Continualling calling asking for Mr Ormerod, Mrs Ormerod and Jason Ormerod. Each time I inform they have the wrong number but they keep calling. Have now reported them to the TPS, and currently enjoying answering the phone as various places, such as police stations and mental health facilities.

Got a call from this number today @ 09:35. No reply when answered, so hung up.

Two calls today and many in the past from these pests trying to sell insulation. They simply will not be told.
I've reported them to TPS but I don't imagine it'll do any good.

I have a device that rejects unwanted calls with a recorded message saying " We do not accept calls from your number. Hang up and do not call us again" and hangs up on them. Since 29th June I have received 10 calls from these people! (Doesn't bother me, it doesn't ring phones in house). So putting them off with this sort of message does not seem to deter them!

I have the same(?) device and everytime a call like this, with an indentifiable number, comes in I just add it to the REJECT list and the calls don't get through... your phone doesn't even ring so they don't bother you at all!

what is this device please?  it sounds like something I would like.  I've lost count of the times I've nearly fallen trying to get to the phone, only to find it's a nuisance call x

Had three calls from this number - one on 26/9/11, then two on 10/11/11. Didn't give a company name but I recognised the number on "Caller Display" as being somewhere in East Manchester. Said he was calling about Cavity Wall Insulation Grants. As we already have it, plus the loft and double glazing I ended the call.

I got a call from this number today (mon 21st nov 2011)

they didn't leave a message on my awnserphone, but i assume it was these "tameside insulation" people again !

Just had a call from this number,didn't recognise it so ignored it,googleing the number has lead me to hear,the company you are all complaining about is called Tameside Insulations,quiet local to me,from their website is another phone number, 0800 093 0998 or fax 0161 337 2261,hope this can lead to a quieter life for you all.

I am sick of this number calling me what partof "NO" dont you get???? the N or the O now do 1

2 calls today pick up nobody ansewrs very annoying but sounds like a call centre in background

received this everyday at same time so looked it up on this blog!  guess what i found elsewhere someone has written this info and i cut and pasted so everyone can read what a sad person and company they are......feel sorry for them really.......

I am very disappointed that you still keep posting on here about tameside insulation calling you.
1st things 1st.
A telephone is there for people to contact you upon. If you do not like calls-get rid of your phone and live in solitude in your little cave until the day you die.
TPS is a acheme that is designed to stop nuisance phone calls and get call centres to sign up to their charter. To sign up to the charter members (the call centres) pay to be members. If the TPS ever took a member to court and fined them-they would lose members. The membership for a call centre is about £5000 per annum. It costs you sad whiners £0 to go onto TPS-who do you think TPS favours? Well as of now-my understanding is that no member has ever been fined. In fact if a call centre is not on TPS when a TPS person complains about them-I undersatnd that TPS approach the call centre and offer them membership. Now this sounds like a protection racket but it shows why you will NEVER get the service you think you are entitled to from TPS. So get used to that.
Lastly-its not against the law for people to ring you-so you are wrong again there. There is no law that states that you cannot be rang unsolicited by an individual or a business-so wrong again.
A suggestion for you who sit here complaining and moaning about unsolicited calls-go and get a life, find a partner, invest in quality time with your friends. Just stop being so SAD!

how rude and you do honestly think we want to trade with you ?????

These people phone me from time to time including twice today. If I'm polite I tell them that i already have loft and cavity wall insulation(which is true), but they still keep calling!!!
Must be a Northern thing!
