received this everyday at same time so looked it up on this blog!  guess what i found elsewhere someone has written this info and i cut and pasted so everyone can read what a sad person and company they are......feel sorry for them really.......

this is what a person from the company has said:

Dear sad people
I am very disappointed that you still keep posting on here about tameside insulation calling you.
1st things 1st.
A telephone is there for people to contact you upon. If you do not like calls-get rid of your phone and live in solitude in your little cave until the day you die.
TPS is a acheme that is designed to stop nuisance phone calls and get call centres to sign up to their charter. To sign up to the charter members (the call centres) pay to be members. If the TPS ever took a member to court and fined them-they would lose members. The membership for a call centre is about £5000 per annum. It costs you sad whiners £0 to go onto TPS-who do you think TPS favours? Well as of now-my understanding is that no member has ever been fined. In fact if a call centre is not on TPS when a TPS person complains about them-I undersatnd that TPS approach the call centre and offer them membership. Now this sounds like a protection racket but it shows why you will NEVER get the service you think you are entitled to from TPS. So get used to that.
Lastly-its not against the law for people to ring you-so you are wrong again there. There is no law that states that you cannot be rang unsolicited by an individual or a business-so wrong again.
A suggestion for you who sit here complaining and moaning about unsolicited calls-go and get a life, find a partner, invest in quality time with your friends. Just stop being so SAD!
I look forward to a barrage of abuse off "Learned people who believe they know better than me now". So lets have it you sad people-who wants to challenge my facts laid out above? Leave your number and I will call you at a time that suits you.

These people phone me from time to time including twice today. If I'm polite I tell them that i already have loft and cavity wall insulation(which is true), but they still keep calling!!!
Must be a Northern thing!

Oh and I'm ex-directory and a member of the TPS !!!!

Had three calls from them today - no message left.

Dear BT,

PLEASE can you put a stop to this number. I keep getting calls from them. On occasion I have just answered and told them to take me off their list, they say they will, but obviously  they never do! Just today I have had two more calls from them.

Is there something I can do to bar such a number from calling me?

Got a call from this number today. Asked to speak to someone who I know used to use this number several years ago before BT reallocated it to me.

I have reported them to TPS silent and pushy sales including using government free grants available. they have branches

in three area's so are spreading so the more people who complain and report them the more hassle they will get.

had 3 calls in space of a hour from these jerks - Now equipped with a TrueCall call interceptor, so at least I don't actually have to bother answering the phone to 'em anymore...

Had a call from these people today, and a very amusing conversation when they tried the hard sell technique. I asked them whether they buy everything over the phone from the first person who calls without checking round for better prices elsewhere. I then said that in my opinion people who buy from unsolicited calls need their heads examining.

They hung up. RESULT.

just wish they stop ringing my number if i want them or anything i will get in touch with them im answering phone 3 times a day to no answer

Now its entirely up to you but I wonder how Lindsey would feel if someone parked their car in front of her driveway for a few hours or maybe if somone put their fax machine on repeat dial to their fax machine and/or 0800 number or maybe passed on their details to one of those nasty people out there who set up distributed denial of service attacks on web sites. What's the difference between doing any of these and having people you employ making repeated nuisance phone calls even after they've been told not to?

Just had another call from this numbert. The message on my answer phone was a very angry woman shouting "answer you phone". Called them back to make a complaint and got disconnected straight away.

Call from this number, no message left so hung up.

8 months later and they're still cold-calling us. I've complained to the TPS once again, please do the same:

Had this number appear on the phone.  2 days later had a witheld number from Status, may be totally unrelated, but"Tom" asked for the man of the house (telemarketer); asked him what it was about and that we were registered with the TPS, he siad the total prick service, I told him not to speak to me like that and I would report them to Ofcom.  I hung up

Thameside Insulation apparently.  Clearly not heard of the TPS.  If they call again I will invite them round for sales pitch.  Bet their salesmen would love to hear all about OFCOM.

If you want to drive them mad and make them stop just pick up but say ABSOLUTELY NOTHING, then wait until they hang up. They don't want to waste their time like they waste yours. If it is a legitimate caller they will announce themselves and you will recognize them. These companies prey on your good nature and generally only start their speil when you say, "Hello?"

Another call (see my post of 11/11/2011) from this number on 20/03/2012. Addressed me by my name then said she was "calling about a Grant we are entitled to". Didn't bother telling her we already have wall and loft insulation - I just hung up.

On Wednesday  a large gang of Tameside Insulation "people" descended on the road where I live (there were at least a dozen of them).  I was then subjected to a very hard sell by a woman who would not take no for an answer.  I had to eventually shut the door in her face after being polite for ten minutes.  YESTERDAY they rang me 8 times.  Boy, am I going to see them as I live in Tameside.  As an OAP living alone I should not be subjected to harassment on this scale, either in person or by telephone.  If I'm not satisfied after going to see them, I'm sending a solicitor's letter as I've been suffering these phone calls for the last five years DAILY.  If they call again, I shall be charged with ABH.
