I Have allocated a ring tone for all my friends and familie, and another for all unwanted calls.
Only answer the ring tone for friends and familie....Simple !

I get this call every day in the morning telling me about PPI. Even if I'm not at home it shows up on my answer phone everyday. It's p**sing me right off. Tried to ring back and the line goes dead. I just want these calls to STOP!

Very dodgy tactics.

Just got a call from this number with a message stating "This is an urgent message about your payment protection policy, press 1 to etc".

Needless to say, I pressed nothing except the end call button.

I tried to call the number back but it was unobtainable?

Got a nuisance call from this number today Im ex-directory  they dont say a word who are they does anyone know ....................

just got a recorded message about pensions, it said to press 9 to stop calls so i did. we will see if this works.

01616010066 - Keep getting these calls on a regular basis! Cheesed off - that's being polite! Got myself a caller display phone - so if this number comes up - I ignore it.

I've just been called by this number and when I answered it was an automated message telling me that I was intitled to compensation so I just hung up.

I've just barred this number this is the second one this week the other one is 01212100666. This has happened ever since I had an Indian lady phone me a couple of weeks ago. Asking for someone else.

Just had a call from 0161010066 - it was from a payment protection insurance company. No name given - automated message

Nuisance recorded message frequently left on my answerphone suggesting I have an insurance claim. Complete lies.

I have been getting the same message for the last 4 weeks and it tells me its about an insurance claim repayment. I am waiting for one so I have just tried to call it back. I ended up get a message from 101 and then tried putting me through to humberside police. so I hung up

I answered and was told to press option 1, 2 or 5. I pressed 5 which was to process a refund - apparently they are completely legitimate and are contacting people who may have been missold PPI. I decided to hang up as they point out the fact that the call is completely FOC over and over again while on hold so made me suspicious.
