They ring me several times a day but was advised not to answer their number.I wish they would stop ringing me.

Got a call from this number on my o2 mobile phone. I could barely understand what the female caller was saying and I had to ask her to repeat things several times. She had no idea of my name and said she was calling from what sounded like "VTE Claims".

I told her that her English was so poor that I couldn't understand her and hung up.

I do wish that OFCM or ICO would do something about these calls, but they're toothless. The directors of these firms should be imprisoned.

Its not o2sfalt i got the same number on my 3 phone saying they are from three now i get it from o2

I've had loads of calls from this number over the last few days. I answered once and they said they're from O2 and want to offer me deals. I told them I wasn't interested and hung up, they still keep calling.

persistent calls, no person speaking, all unsolicited. now refuse to answer.

They have called twice today, saying they are from O2, who is my mobile provider. They are a nuisance, and won't take 'no' for an answer

They keep calling my sons emergency mobile.  He has been told not to answer any numbers that are not in his call book.
I have blocked it but still keeps getting through. GGGRRRRRR!!!

??? What is the point of leaving O2?  These callers are bogus and you'll still receive the calls whether you are with O2 or not.

The ability to block numbers is already built in to Android:

In the Phone app, look under the history tab (Clock icon), tap and hold on the phone number in question and select "Block/Report spam" from the menu that pops up. No 3rd party apps needed!
