nothing from andrew dryden? lime media? new approach marketing? 1 scam, 2 company names! its funny, he has responded to all of these posts blaming his competitors for posting on here and yet now there is a post with a telephone number for one of his poor customers in south africa and he is very quiet? well mr dryden of new approach gone off lime, you have a customer on the forum who would like his problem to be resolved! where are you now? why so quiet?

I'm in Cape Town and the above post is from a customer Hersey & Associates in the Pinelands, Cape Town. I offered the customer to meet with myself, he has declined, was away for two weeks, but seems, he's in the office, this was before i arrived in Cape Town, seemed this big problem was not worth sitting down and chatting about.

I have since seen this post, so once again i've just offered the customer to meet with the accountants tomorrow, the largest in Cape Town, who will furnish him with all company documentation, but he has refused. I then asked if he would make a statement to the lawyer, repeating exactly what he's put on the blog, but he refused.

The client does not want to meet with the accountants or lawyers, hides behind blogs, without having the professional strong attitude to meet and discuss and then lies on blogs about the companies structure, poor show John Hersey.

We are a (PTY) Limited company in Cape Town and you should know, to hold a local bank account in SA to accept EFT's you need to have a registered company, with accountants and lawyers, its that simple, so finally, if you have a problem, then email and i will call or meet you, but if you have serious problems with the company, dont be weak like John Hersey, just calls us and we will sit down professionally and discuss the issues.

I worked at this "organisation" in the early part of 2009 for a short period of time. As soon as I started my interview I began to question the professionalism of the company as the interviewer, Mr Dryden was immediately rude to me. However I stood firm and was offered the job, which obviously I was happy about, but the memory of the experience still remained. After no training at all I was thrust onto the phone trying to sell the Google Map's products, which were explained to me were fantastic value for money, and on the face of it of which I agreed. I then came across a customer who explained that you could get what we were offering for free and they were absolutely useless. At first I thought he must have been mistaken and talking about somebody else, but after doing some research I discovered him to be correct, and I had been inadvertantly taking peoples money for something they could get for free, which in my book is tantamount to stealing and not in line with the promise that New Approach conducted their business very ethically unlike their competitors. After my discovery I went online and did a Google search for this company and came across a whole host of shall we say, less than complimentary reviews on New Approach, indicating they had not promised on what they had delivered on improving a clients status on Google, were taking old customer's money even after being informed of a cancellation and had been treated very rudely when had rung up to enquire which I could appreciate as I had heard Mr Dryden taking certain complaint calls from customers using the most obscene language.

After taking in all of this, I quit with immediate effect, as I was shocked and apalled to have been involved with such an organisation, who's business practise I can only describe as despicable.

After reading all of these comments I hope that this Maverick company gets all that it deserves (and by the looks of it, it will, as I have a family friend in trading standards, who has said they have been under investigation for some time now and are preparing a case against them), promising something (no matter how cleverly it is worded) and delivering nothing is stealing. This company should be glad that they arent governed by the FSA (Financial Services Authority) as they would've been put out of business a long time ago.

I called trading standards and they have no file open on New Approach. I think you will find that i personally work in a different office to the call centre, so you would never hear any of my phone calls, just a complete lie, but there seems to be more untruths.

The point is we charge for a service, yes you can set up Google maps yourself, but if you instruct ourselves to set up the account and this is performed by a Google Professional, then why cant we charge for the service, because the client will benefit from page one presence, its called business, so its a product we offer to existing customers.

The business is based on PPC and yes people can set-up their own marketing campaigns, but to become a Google Professional you need to sit a very difficult exam, all about Adwords, so it's either trying to set-up a campaign yourself, with limited knowledge or instructing a professional to maximise its success, some people use accountants, some people don't, very simple, customers choice.

We DO NOT actively sell Google Maps, the main products are "PPC" and "SEO", really quite glad you left because you obviously did not know what you were selling.

You would of been trained by Liam, the in-house, employed, full time, TRAINING MANAGER, so another complete lie, everyone spends five hours with Liam, before making a call, even if they have worked for a competitor, they are still required to complete the training, then watched and monitored for two weeks.

It's so easy to hide behind a name and start to "blog" untruth after untruth, why not state your name?

Finally to say on the interview "i was rude" is just another untruthful and negative comment, very very sad, i sell myself and the company to ensure, you the new employee feels happy to start, so either state your name and get some back bone/depth or find a life.

I have no doubt Andrew Dryden has a big business in South Africa, but why haven't you posted some details to substantiate your claims.

Give us the names of your South African based "PTY LTD" and it's company registration number. Tell us who your AUDITORS are, and the name of the partner in charge of your account. Give us your TAX and VAT numbers. Give us your bankers and your bank account number details.

This is all statutory information, open to the public, and all trading companies not only freely make this available to establish and enhance their credibility, but are in fact required by law to do so.

I'm sure a lot of your detractors would be silenced if you simply provided perfectly normal business information like that.

They actually have bank accounts in SA because we paid by EFT into standard bank, forgotten the details because it was several weeks ago, what we objected to was the legal recording, the backbone to the order, it was played back over the telephone by Martin, in accounts, actually nice guy, but very English and the recording did discuss cancellation, but why did they not provide an order form. They mention the cancellation in the welcome letter, but who reads this stuff. I paid the company and will not use them again unless they provide a detailed order form.

Some guy at the tram-stop handed me your business card the other day which prompted me to google your company. Haha sounds like you have a great reputation.

No wonder its says call today for an immediate interview.

They are nothing but scam artists, type new approach marketing scam into google and you will see even worse stuff than this! new approach marketing are scammers, thieves and liers, they have staff banging at their doors every day for unpaid wages, if you dont do enough deals in a week they wont even pay you your basic! New approach marketing pretend they are google to get business, they call their business instant google and have had to change names to media mountain and lime media, bottom line, new approach marketing is one big fat filthy scam! And to resort to handing out cards at tram stops to get staff? Pay for an advert on your instant Google £99 scam which works sooooooooooooooooooooooooo well!

Jesus, after reading many pages of complaints against this company it makes me laugh that the insecure tosser MD, Andrew Dryden, keeps coming on here to defend himself, its hilarious!

ive been working at new approach for a while now and during my time ive come to find that andrew dryden is one of the nicest most loyal blokes you could ever meet.  he looks after his staff and does his best to make sure his customers get what they pay for. As for this jamie guy, well lets just say he sounds like a right immature tosser who needs to grow up.  i understand he is a big drugs user and puts pressure on his staff for them to use drugs as well. glad i dont work there.  whilst all these competitors of new approach have slowly died and are no more, new approach goes from strengh to strengh which shows who was telling the truth in this forum over the last 12 months and as for all the ex employees who feel the need to post negative comments i feel sorry for you.  If you were any good at sales you would still be here earning fantastic money like me, the facts are that you were all no good at selling and sacked beacuse of that, simple really, if your no good at sales then go and get a job in something else and dont be bitter and jealous and bite the hand that fed you and gave you a chance.  If your good at sales and are reading this then get in contact with new approach as you will earn great money and we have a brilliant atmosphere here, im never going to leave.

i worked in the same office as Mr Dryden...and couldn,t agree more with these  negative coments. New approach marketing,lime media media mountain. lime media marketing  and now i believe may of changed names yet again and be trading under the name search. is nothing more than a scam  .
why would a company need to change names so many times in the  a six month period. if they were legimate????.

Media mountain as it was when i was there prey on  unsusspecting clients.promising them the earth with unlimited clicks on googles first page for ninety nine  pound per month. absolute rubbish. these clients  only get one click per day   in a limeted mileage of their business
in the sponsered links section of google. hahah,whats the point??

They offer the product  with no contract  with no contract but clients end up paying for alot more than this  when the company make poor excuses, and not accepting cancelletions.

then get intimidated with threating phone calls. i strongly advise do not do business  withthis company. Mr Dryden can reply to all these messages as much as he likes but surely not all these people can be wrong.

I have just goggled this company as they have a job in the job centre !! As a professional person I always check a company out before I apply to them the job is for an Accountant.  I do not think I will bother this is not what I call a professional Company airing arguements on a web site.

andrew i know you know who i am as we had some ups and downs in the past im not going to hide behind a false name as i want you to know who i am...i was always straight up with you and you know that, if i had a problem with anything we were in the office and i would be straight with you, i left for reason i wont discuss but what i do want to say is when i was there your office was next to where google maps was pitched...which you know is not a lie....as far as this jamie guy..isn't he the one who could make a deal to save his life?  i think i remember him...anyway im only hear because i have recently started with a new company and its going great and im making money which was always my aim. unfortunately it wasn't within your company. however i agree with the post in regards to just leave the forum, forget about the childish comments, whatever it is you do people are gonna hate....its a natural reaction....im not hear to bad mouth your company am just hear to put my opinion in as i think i have a right too. as far as im concerned i have the upmost respect for andrew and his accomplishments! oh and p.s. the comment by Luke...is not me. Andy Dryden is really a peice of work!
We subscribed to New Approach Marketing last year and they took R1500.00 from out Banking account for what they called BEING ON THE 1st Page of GOOGLE.
I typed in the criteria they said would attract customers and our Company's name did NOT appear.
When I cancelled the subscription, I was insulted by ANDY DRYDEN and treatened with legal action
We paid them about R12000.00 without getting any business from their scam.
I do hope they get justice

You know  i am thinking of entering this industry,  I  am going to show you pathetic excuses of businessmen how to take a good idea and really develop without having thousands of complaints! Pathetic.
