All the antics of these scum bags are tracked on this website:

Including their trading name aliases, and details of some of the illegal and fraudulent activities. Makes for quite funny reading.

    Some Guy
I recently completed 4 days working at Search/FB Global/Facebook Global/Social Network Department (depending on what trading name you want to call them)
Some other names they have gone by are New Approach, Lime Media, Media Mountain, Lime Media Marketing, Media Networking and another business they run from the same building is Contract Cars.
Four of their current websites im aware of:
socialnetworkingdepartment.com, snd.co.za (for SA but effectively the same), newapproachmarketing.com, contractcars.com
    Office address I worked at:
12 Ambassador Place, Stockport Road, Altrincham, Cheshire, WA15 8DB

(IN MY OPINION ANDY) anything to do with social networking by any of the above names is a rogue outfit run by Andy Dryden.
I was supposed to work on the Facebook Global/FB Global campaign which is providing marketing on Facebook for companies but quit after realising (IN MY OPINION ANDY) the whole thing is a complete rip off and scam and Andy is either severely mentally ill with prolific denial or one of the lowest people I have ever come across. Either way he is very unique.
I then Googled him and his company and was not too surprised at the levels of people who are unhappy with his services. His belief his persistant poor attempts to argue everyone that says something bad online is of any effect is actually amusing. And no doubt you will read/argue this Andy. You joker.
Readers can see below why (IN MY OPINION ANDY) its a scam. And Andy personally informed me in a meeting I had with him following the me quiting  ITS OK TO HAVE AN OPINION (although he would prefer you to keep it to yourself and hints violence at the prospect of not doing so). Woops a daisy.
Readers of this can decide your own opinion.
The average click-through rate on a Facebook advert is 0.04% or 1 in 2500, meaning someone buying Andys £200 package for example, would statistically only gain 3 visits to their website, and someone buying the £99 package would most likely not even recieve a single visit. It is highly unlikely anyone would ever make a return on their investment, as they are so often told they will in peoples pitches. Further more, 3 clickthroughs (or on average 7500 impressions), would only cost between 60p and £1.20 if the customer was to use the PPC model dealing with Facebook directly.

After telling Andy this by email, he stated he provides a service and takes a percentage.

I then said to him... 60p - £1.20 on Facebook = £200 from his company. Or a 2220% more expensive price tag. (IN MY OPINION ANDY) this is hardly a fair chrage for a fairly straight forward service and the words "take a percentage" somehow, do not do this justice.

He invited me back to the office to meet with him for what I could see as one of three reasons: To pay me off, to threaten me or to argue till he is blue in the face he is providing a valuable service. It turned out to be the 3rd reason with hints of the second.
After 5 or 10 minutes of him on the attack calling me a d*ck head/ar**hole and relentlessly trying to imagine my “sh*tty flat somewhere” and asking “Whos the millionaire here?” etc etc – We finally (with the odd “d*ck head” here and there through-out) began to discuss the construct of Facebook Global/FB Global. He called a “tech guy” upstairs who was calm through the meeting, whilst Andy kept being a pr**k.
I got his "tech guy" to admit that at their minimum guarantees (1000 impressions for £99 and 7500 impressions for £200) barely anyone would gain a return on their investment. Let alone a profit.
They then said they always "slaughter" their minimum guarantees anyway. So I asked how many impressions someone would typically recieve for £99 and was told by the "tech guy" usually around 20,000.
I then pointed out that 20,000 would still not produce a return. It would statistically only generate 8 click-throughs (not sales) which would in 99.99% of cases not produce a return, let alone a profit.

Then Andy started saying they put £80 from the £99 into the marketing and keep 20% (or £20). However if this was true each customer would recieve on average 666,666 impressions (not the 20,000 they said a few minutes before). And also if this was true, considering that each sales person averages only £100 in sales each day, the company would be losing vast amounts of money for every sales person, every single day.
So (IN MY OPINION ANDY) either Andys company is loosing huge amounts of money daily and has been for a long time and will do for time to come or he is ripping people off.

(IN MY OPINION ANDY) Pretty much every phone call a lie is told. Salespeople rarely use their real name, tell people they are calling from South Africa/Cape town or Canary Wharf London (which makes me laugh), make up figures about demand for a business sector and even go as far as looking up the weather in S/A before making calls. I am pretty sure they dont even have an office in Cape Town, I think its all virtual offices redirected to Altrincham. After calls iv heard the manager say “that was a good pinch”, although I am still unaware of how much all the staff know about it being a rip off. I think some do actually believe they are providing a valuable service.
Also (IN MY OPINION ANDY), and not so important to me as the thousands of people that are getting skanked. Andys company commits thousands of copyright infringements/Intellectual property thefts every day. Every call regarding the social media marketing I heard started with “Im calling from Facebook Global”, or the less popular FB Global, and the impression is often taken by potential customers they are strongly associated with Facebook, and on some occasions that they are Facebook.
To conclude, (IN MY OPINION ANDY), Andy Dryden is ripping people off. Scamming, stealing, rogue. He is the biggest pr**k I have ever met, immoral, deluded, in the worst case of denial I have ever seen. Not only do you scam a lot of your money off inocent people Andy but its pr**ks like you that damage peoples confidence in legit businesses and generally just make the world a sh*tter place. This planet would of been better off if you died at birth.

I'm an ex employee of the company and worked with the team for 12 months, just trawling the net and seen this post.

This sounds like real sour grapes and most probably a disgruntled sales person who cant sell and thinks blogging is the way forward, very crass.

He's correct about calling from London, its meant to add credability to the sales, i think its a virtual office nothing more but he's completely wrong about everything else.

Andy is a decent guy and i moved away from the area, hence my decision to leave, but he looks after ALL staff and was always in the office at his desk, on everyones back, every day, creating an incredible atmosphere, fantastic for selling.

The technical department are always around to help or assist.

Poor shame on you ex salesperson for discussing death etc very unprofessional and bad form, if you had removed the obvious anger, then maybe people would believe your blog.

If employees do read this blog, hope everyone is well.

Brave blogger, not quite so brave in person

You know where my office is should you wish to discuss your issues

I fired you for poor performance, all the above information is a lie. Such a conversation would never be engaged with a member of staff that I employ to sell, nothing more

We provide quality facebook marketing campaigns globally and are internationally recognised as marketing experts

    someone who knows
why do people leave companies and then take it upon themselves to write [***] like this. Does anyone actually read these blogs apart from the people who still work there and the odd person who may have left. Yes it wasnt the best company in the world but its a job and it pays ok and during these hard times we all have to take what we can get. If these people didnt like the job why do they stay instead of just leaving. Its because they have probrably wasted their time at university and the only job they can find is to sit behind a computer and sell. 3 years well spent probrably on my expense or they have no education behind them and settle for the easy route. During your time working for Andy Dryden he paid you and treated you well and he only fell out with you when you starting taking the piss not turning up or trying to cause [***] in the office. Are you really that borthered about someone in south africa who may or may not have been ripped off. The answer clearly is no, its simply sour grapes whilst your sitting at home with [***] all to do as you dont have any job anymore. I worked for Andy Dryden for a while and I had good and bad times but would I go back. The answer to that is probrably yes and Im sure all of you would as well if you needed to money to survive. Why dont you all just get a life and stop being bitter and twisted or go and set your own company up like andy dryden did and then you can run it the way you want. Stop the bitterness and the jealously

I recieved very very bad service CONTRACTCARS.com. Andy was very rude and thought he was a bad man (lol). His employees promised to deliver a car by a due date. They gave me the wrong date, instead of saying look we made a mistake they called me a liar. A simple apologise would have been suffice. Instead I had to cal 10 times to speak to andy as his sales staff claimed to be the directors of the company.

Finally when I got through to andy, he just ripped my head off and called me a liar, for no reason. He came across as a total prick. I have businesses and would never talk to my customers like that. Especially if they are buying off me.

In future andy listen to both sides of the story then make a decision. The most dangerous man is a man who has nothing to loose. You my friend have a lot to loose.

vat numbers are all correct - go and check them with sars

Think you will find its true
I've been paying them by EFT into a Standard Bank account, so when i read the blogs decided to investigate. All vat numbers, company reg numbers are correct and dont understand why people would mention they are not. If you are South African look ast the relevant registration details on the sales invoice. I really dont understand why people post, it scared us completely and now we understand everything is ok

Drydens Fairfax – a disreputable ‘solicitors firm’ who are glorified debt collectors, and who will generally hire local-area reps to argue their cases.

A list of known numbers for them are as below.

Do NOT phone them under any circumstances, and hang up if they try calling you – there’s nothing can be achieved by phone discussions with them.

If it’s not important enough to put into writing, then it’s not important enough to discuss on the phone.

If you have a call-blocker or a call-filtering system, then all of the below numbers should be entered into your call-barring list.

    08433770317
    01138233387

What you will also find with this company is how poor it is in dealing with general enquiries, complaints – especially if it happens to relate to an upcoming court hearing.

If they should try to fob you off with an unsatisfactory answer or ignore your enquiry altogether – and they will try one or the other - then it’s worth doing the following :-

    1)  Set up a free hotmail email address – takes about two minutes.  Under NO circumstances use your everyday email address to send or receive emails.

    2)    Copy ALL of the email addresses as addresses into the email you want to send to them – if they get 60 emails from you as opposed to one, then you’ll get an answer to it much quicker, due largely to the increase in incoming email traffic.  Plus, if you have an upcoming hearing, then it’ll be a LOT harder for them to deny existence of your emails or play ignorant when you tell the judge that you’ve emailed 60 different people at that company.

    3)    If they block your email address, repeat step 1 and continue as before.

Please note that these email addresses have been included for a very specific purpose, and that’s to give you back some control – they are NOT to be used for malicious purposes, ie. Signed up to religious sites, porn sites, spam sites, ad sites, and the like.
