i missed this call.just wondering who is this might be.

I got a call but I don't know who is.

who is this no belong too its calling me and i ring back there no dialing tone

Very strange number. The 01706 code is for Rossendale/Rochdale but there are not enough numbers after the code for it to be UK. Could be one of the Indian scammers using fake UK numbers via dodgy routers.

I just got a call from this number and decided to google it to see if I could at least find out the area code, seems strange that so many people has had simular calls. very odd

i got a call, i am from ireland, i think it could be halifax, or a company lookin for money for halifax

I am also from Ireland but I doubt very much that it could be either Ulster Bank or Hallifax as I have no dealings with either. I also tried to ring back but, just like everyone else, I couldn't.

Just had a missed call from this number.  rang half a dozen times and then cut off. We deal with UB - don't think it's them.

I'm also from Ireland, had few missed calls from this number. Sadly, i couldn't answer any of them, couldn't ring them back either. Last few months i've been very inactive due to illness and i'm sure i didn't gave my number to anyone until today when i registered with "Match Employment" agency. How about you guys?

I had a missed call from this number today but when I ring it back it's constantly engaged !!

I've answered the call, and it was MBRI (Market bureau research of Ireland) asking about UPC service.

Got a call today from dis number. tried to ring back but out of service tone.

just googled the number as they just rang me 18.07pm 01/10/11. i dont answer numbers i dont recognise. waited for voicemail and didnt get one, after reading all your post i dont think i will be bothered to find out who is ringing.

Missed a call from this number this evening but didn't answer it. I answered a call from MBRI last week, I think it ame up unknown doing research for Vodafone. they said they might ring me back again!
