had missed call from this number
when i tried to return call all i got was engaged tone

Yeah i missed the call , tried to ring back, constant engage tone... Wud safely say its a survey or scam and with it being 01 I am thinking Dublin code....

I answered a call from this number a few weeks ago and the guy said he was from MRBI and was doing research for an opinion poll. The questions were about the current government and some company like Vodafone or Eircom. Can't remember exactly. I asked him how he got my number because my number has been added by Eircom to that list they keep of numbers who have said they do not want to get marketing calls. He told me they just dial (or their computer does) random numbers that they make up. I just got another call and they hung up when I answered. Grrrr.

i am from dublin and had a call from this no earlier on this evening and also could get no reply when i rang it back. do people not have anything better 2 do with their time.

UCD Belfield numbers all start with 01 706. I think it might be that. Although I can't understand why anybody would be calling me from the college at 9pm

Have had a few missed calls from 01 7061200. Like everoone no ring tone if i call back

yeh just had a missed call on my mobile from this crowd. i get these calls to unlisted home and mobile every once in a while, it's mostly SKY.. They passed my number on when i told them to get lost recently, now i get nagging calls. YES the people making the calls are a 3rd party, but they are working a list and a mission from someone like SKY or Vodafone. If You ask them to remove Your number from the list, by law they must do so, so to cover their [***] they claim the number was 'randomly generated' which is bull. YOU work out the odds of hitting a RANDOM 7 digit number 4 times in 8 months - pretty fu**ing unlikely. The way to deal with these people is to COMPLAIN TO YOUR CARRIER. Do not talk to these people, do not encourage them, tell them plain and simple to never call You again - if they claim the number was randomly generated, tell them by law they must keep a list of number they have been requested NOT to call again, then, if it happens again, complain to COMREG.

hi i got a call from this number its a scam they got my credit card details via using my visa on line and my phone nuber

Make a copy of the comments on this thread. Contact your credit card company, tell them what happened, ask them if you can fax it over to them to prove that you were scammed. They will cancel the account and issue you another card. Have them check for unauthorized transactions. Do this right away before David Justice cleans out your account.

Also, remember to contact all companies you do business with and update your account records with them so there will be no issues the next time they bill you.

its a scam this number they have they got from my bank details whitch i used on line so they have my bank details to as well as my phone number so got to close my bank accout down pain in the ass so be awear scamers ......................

Sorry about the mention of David Justice-I had been offering advice to someone that he scammed on another number on whocallsme and got the threads mixed up

got call from this number on 9/1/2012 at 20:24. it didn't ring long enough for me to answer it, not that I would anyway as like many of you I don't answer calls from unknown numbers. I reckon it could have been my nigerian prince friend looking for more money!!!!!

we should all be careful too as this site is probably a cold calling research site to find out why we don't answer their bloody calls!!!
