please no further contact or passing on of my details

I was called by this number at c8pm yesterday evening. Owing to the number of nuisance calls, we do ot answer the 'phone  a sorry state of afafirs after we have recently suffered a bereavement.

As I live less than 20 miles from Preston, I could call in and congratulate those responsible in person, if anyone can trace an address.

We were getting calls from this number around lunch time they stopped for a short time, but they have just started again around tea time, don't know anybody in the Preston area so have never returned the call.

Keep getting silent calls from this number

They are ringing me during the day. I wont answer unless i recognise the name or number. Annoying to say the least !1

just had call from this number, reported them to offcom, sick of various numbers calling then silent, i am a member of tps, getting to many of these type of calls lately,

so if everyone goes to offcom website and reports these, maybe something will be done

All smartphone/ iPhone users, please go onto the apps site and download one of the FREE call blockers for you phone.
They are very good and will ONLY allow calls/ texts from those listed in your phone book. Some of the apps will log the calls and sms rejected so you can check and see the number and if it's someone with a new number, that you know, you can add them off the block list and allow their calls and texts.

I did that, and i'm not bothered by these scum anymore.

Landline users, get Truecall off Amazon! That is brilliant too. A bit pricey but well worth it for piece of mind from these SCUM.

Sick to death of getting calls from this number 8times in the last 2 days

Calls us in the morning and afternoon, never leaves a message.

How many times is a company allowed to call in 1 day!!!!!

tried countless times to call them, but always get a recorded message saying they are busy.

Reasoning behind the silent calls: they use auto dialer machines that constantly phone one random number after another. If the call is answered the machine records it as a "live line." You'll then get a further call from another machine that predials for the winkers doing the selling. If you answer that call, but there isn't an operative available to intercept when the calls is answered, the machine just dumps the call. So, lots of hang up calls.

All in all, best to remember the last few digits of the no. and don't answer it.

Had a call and rang it back behind the 141 prefix.
