Really Heavy, pressurised sales pitch, demanding money

Pretending to have Government Contracts that they want you to carry out.
After a long a pressurised communication they reveal that they have an Advert "opportunity" for you.

Don't waste your time speaking to them.

Apparantly John Prescott and Gordon Brown are interested in Solar Energy, but after a 10 minute sales pitch they wanted £6000 to appear in a Govt Magazine

THEY TAKE NO FOR AN ANSWER

Just had a call from this company after being plagued by their other office (0121 4563336), always wanting to speak to a director, always rude when we dont put them through.  I made a complaint and was supposed to be taken of their call list but 2 weeks later they are calling again. Oh joy

I got a call from a very obnoxious woman - telephone number 0121 4563336. Never caught her name or company.  Typed the telephone number into google and found this site.

I called them straight back and told them not to call here again!

Received a call from someone wanting to speak to a colleague who works in a different part of the country. I explained that I was unable to locate them. The "lady" then finished the call in an extremely sarcastic manor!!!!

Just had the same voice mail from no. 0121 4563336 (ladies name is Baly Cater) - phoned back and she picked up, I told her to not call my number again and said she would let her know...when it was blatantly her.

A man called saying he is going into an important meeting at 4:00 and wanted to speak to someone in our business of the upper crust before that time.

He says he is going to meet with many government officials on the nation wide Change for Life initiative. This is on the obesity problem in our country. He sees us as a solution provider and really needs to speak with someone.

Anyway he talked on and on about his very important meeting and some how he had our MD's name as the man to speak with. I told him he is not available today.

He then called back later and was quite put out that nobody had called him back.

Calls coming in at one per day minimum to my office - with the cryptic message left with the receptionist for me to call back "urgently" as I "will know what it's about"...

Haven't bothered to call back - I get far too many such calls and unless I know who then I tend to ignore.

Further to my previous message the caller uses the name "Alex Lockett" (I've no idea who that might be) and is now using a mobile number - 07512 245 909.

Got a call from Clen Ford on this number, in my naivety it sounded like a good opportunity.  But when he started saying things about a customer that I knew where untrue I got sceptical and eventually very annoyed by his persistence sales pitch.

Received a call form a lady who said she was, "calling from the 'public service'".  Here name was Elanor.  She had been directed to us by a "key figure in the government" to discuss DECC projects.  She was very, very pushy, wouldn't accept an email address and insisted on speaking to the managing director (whose name she had found) stating that the projects were very urgent.

I got a call from Glen Ford supposedly from Renewable Energy Deployment office he wanted to speak to a senior member of our company. He wasnt rude but very jovial and over familiar he didnt seem serious enough to be believeable.

Martin Paris calling from 01782667340 about Govt contracts. Very pushy.

Glynn Ford telephoned he is now apparently work for the DECC in Land Based Rewnables. Same old chat however

Had the same sales chat from Victoria at PSCA, long winded "fantastic opportunity" pitch but we need you to sign up before our 10.30 meeting.

Put through to Alex Lockett Finance Director in an attempt to close the deal, highly pressurised call & pushy to try to get you to commit. Slick operation, under hand tactics...

Someone calls first from a private number from a company with 'a package' to deliver. They refuse to send it with out a directors name on the address label, even though I insisted it would still reach reach me with just the address. It sounded suspicious so I gave a false name, sure enough in the afternoon a Mr Martin Parish called back from 01782667340 asking to speak to my false name about a Govt scheme/initiative and refusing to say where he got my details from.

He was saying all the right names and contacts (obviously he'd researched our website and done a bit of homework) but he lost interest when I suggested he just emailed his details to the generic contact address on the site.

Just put these numbers into google and you will see complaints from everyone of there branches the Manchester branch has 4 pages of complaints. 01782 620088, 0121 4563336, 0161 8327387, 0131 5553970, 01782 667340.

Just got a call from this number - Oliver Hamilton - suggesting they could help us contract with the NHS. Had a feeling that this didn't sound right so did not give anything away. Suggested he email us.
However, he did not try to sell me advertising space. I shall beware of any invoice arriving however, as we had another company who tried to scam us after a colleague had an innocent telephone conversation, which they later edited and tried to say that he had agreed to advertise.
If he calls back I shall be ready for him.
