    Concerned Person
I've been contacted by a Martin Parish on several occasions now.  He claims to "know me", claims that I will "know what it's about", claims it's a "follow up to a conversation that we've had".  I have never spoken with this gentleman, I have never heard of him & I'm never going to speak with him after reading this.

He claims to have very important contacts in government & they NEED him to speak with me. LIES

After the lies he has told me PA & Reception staff I could only imagine the lies he would spin me if he had managed to get me on the phone.

    BEWARE!

I have been swapping e-mails with Gordon Warrender who heads this company.  I am staggered that there are so many other folk who have taken the time to express their dissatisfaction with his business.

We have been phoned many times after advising Warrender that our company should be removed from his lists.  He provides categoric assurances and then ignores them.  His staff write him illiterate e-mails which he forwards on.

I have now taken on the responsibility of doing all that I can to get the authorities to recognise the antics of this business.  My hope is that severe sanctions can be imposed because although Warrender is smart, and remarkably arrogant, his business has to comply with the laws of the land.

If you would like to contribute towards this action, please contact slowmo45TR@yahoo.com.

Sales call from an organisation that claims it has political influence and sway... I find that very hard to believe.

They "offer" Advertorial or Conference Attendance - depending on the day of the week for £5,000 - £6,000.

I would avoid them as like the plague. The sales people are always pushy, arrogant, demanding and frankly rude. They will always demand to speak to the MD or CEO even if like me you happened to be exactly the person they should be talking to....

If I were you I'd place them on hold and leave them there!

A Glyn Ford called 'from publicservice.com' wanting to talk about cyber crime. Left a message with our reception and would not contact by email. Called back and it seemed odd - cut off. Then he called back again and I refused to take the call having read this thread

Lucy Middleton from publicservice.co.uk (a website owned by PSCA International), "hoping for assistance with a project for central government departments".

Total [***] - these jokers have wasted my time plenty of times before - they talk for ages, trying to sound all important and pompous, and eventually get round to the fact that they want to sell me ad space or a special ticket to an exclusive roundtable discussion or some such nonsense.

I've configured the phones so all they get is voicemail.  I'll call them back aroundabout the time that hell freezes over.

A message for publicservice.co.uk: you suck, now please *&$% off and die.

A message for publicservice.co.uk employees: seriously, find your dignity and go and get a proper job that does something useful instead of actively making things more difficult for other businesses by repeatedly trying to waste their most precious asset: their time.

A message for anyone else reading this: don't waste your time speaking to these [***], and don't even contemplate giving them any money.  If we all do our best to ignore them, eventually they'll go bust and leave us alone.

They now say they are calling from 'public service' because the 'PSCA' name is so toxic and poorly received.

This despite the fact that the DTI told them to change their original name of 'Public Service Communication Agency' because it was deemed to be deliberatley misleading and sounded too quasi-governmental.

The sad fact is that they continue to prosper and make money. Lots of companies (and increasingly universities) are still taken in by their approach and cough up thousands of pounds to appear in their magazines or go their events.

They do actually publish magazines - just ones that no-one reads - and they do run events - only ones that no-one senior actually attends as a delegate.

The person responsible for the way they behave is a midget called Gordon Warrender. He is getting very rich and doesn't care who gets in his way because he is only interested in making money.

His email is gordon@publicservice.co.uk and his mobile number is 07730438511. Try calling him incessantly and see how he likes it.

Of course I am going to google it all first - I'm no fool - so thank god for everyone else who warns potential punters about this group.

Have you got any testimonials from clients who actually secured any contracts after being at one of your events?

Oh - and after 10 years in business these are the best testimonials you have.....

.....and yet there are hundreds more complaints about you both on this site and on this link:

    http://www.andrewjaffe.net/blog/science/000475.html

not to mention the advertising standards authority finding against you:

    http://www.asa.org.uk/Asa-Action/Adjudication ... d/CS_39449.aspx

The list of people who said that your books were rubbish and didn't acheive anything for them and that your events were useless would be much longer than your testimonials but you wouldn't exactly publish those would you?

Publish your lay off list for all to see for a bit of balance - but then a file with over 50 pages might be a bit big for this site.

Nice try Paul but you'll have to do better than that and shouldn't you be trying to sell space anyway - after all you didn't exactly have a brilliant year last year did you.

Oh, and everyone at PSCA hates you Paul and thinks you are rubbish. You are a joke in Manchester and people laugh at you behind your back.

Got loads of calls from a company trying to sell me advertising space at some conference or something, company called Govtoday, really evasive and smarmy, sounds like a scam

THIS IS A SCAM. GOVTODAY is a joke

If you read this "GOV TODAY" I hope you are ashamed of yourselves.  How can you call someone claiming to have Ed Miliband at your carbon event in March this year when it is common knowledge that because of the general election MP's, especially cabinet ministers, do not speak in public.

You must think I was born yesterday!!!

If he does speak at your event I will eat my hat, my coat, my shoes and the train I came to work on this morning.

I also see from you website that you are trying to pass yourselves off as being link to the cabinet office.

have had at least 3 calls a day for the last week from this lot, who will not take no for an answer.

I DO NOT WANT TO ADVERTISE AT YOUR EVENT SO STOP CALLING ME PLEASE.

I must have been at the same "conference" as you 'lied to a robbed blind' with about 60 people turning up.  I too asked for a refund and got the same sort of response - once bitten, twice shy as they say.

They told me a number of blue chip companies were already booked for the event and they had one place left - absolute rubbish.

Avoid GOVTODAY they do not deliver what they claim to be selling and lie to get you to attend - its a scam.

what an idiot you are paul to think that govtoday wrote that and to respond by slating govtoday in such an obvious and stupid way.

you really are thick as a brick.

your post doesn't even make sense - did wendy help you write it because she can't put more than three words together without sounding like an idiot either.

get gordon to write stuff instead or is he not talking to you becasue he's so angry at what a mess you are making of running his business in manchester?

and people in glass houses should not throw stones. your whole sales process is built around telling people 'there is one space left'. or maybe you don't do that paul and thats why you are losing the company so much money.

the way you describe govtoday is EXACTLY how psca behave you are such a d*ck it is funny.

you didn't even post it on govtoday's page you tool. it just makes psca look even more stupid. you are so far out of your depth its a joke. gordon must be thinking about sacking you soon. money matters more to him than friendship you know it, he knows it, we know it and soon the p45 you have will prove it.
