I don't even have a bloody car and im getting messages about car insurance, phone calls that are hung up and several other numbers ringing me? stupid

This morning was at the bloody zoo, got rang by this number at 5am :/ ffs

Had a go at the guy and he made it out i was being horrible ''oh well not if your swearing me, oh thanks for your time''  stupid xD

Yeah. Same story. Went on gocompare. This number calls at least 3 times a day. I did state no marketing.

This company is a nightmare

If you get these calls write to Caroline Bird, she is the person who is the company complaints contact according to the FSA website. FSA website is great for finding out who is the person in charge of complaints for financial companies. Go complain !!!! Maybe if we all fill her inbox with complaints it will stop. I for one am not going to pay 10p a minute to talk to their complaints department.

Getting the calls on my work mobile... i've never entered it on a comparison site so why i don't know!

My advise for comparison sites though is to always use false info, get the quote, go direct to the site of your chosen company and re-enter it correctly - that way you get the best insurance price with none of the annoyance!

I just got a call from them, thought i'd let them see if they could beat the quote I got online and it was their call, so didn't cost me anything. They couldn't even get near the quote I got online. If this is the case, can't see why they bothered at all..

How about getting a quote and putting their number in instead of your own? Then if they answered their own call perhaps they might dissapear up their own [***]??? lol

The constant calls are driving me mad. When I completed the quote form on gocompare I stated that I don't have a car yet so why are they hounding me; logic suggests that if someone does not own a car they will not purchase car insurance. I just wanted to have an idea of the cost incase we buy a car in the future, but I certainly wont purchase my insurance from any of these companies.

Yup, have reveived two calls from them today, funny seeing as how i don;t own a car, and have never used a price comparison website in my life.

Wondering how they got my mobile phone number and how i can stop them from calling me again, if at all possible.

I answered this call as it has a Stoke on Trent  STD code so thought it was someone I knew as I live in Stoke!  They hung up as soon as I answered anyway, but I haven't even used any price comparison sites this time so I don't know why they're ringing me!!!!!!

DONT give them your phone number. Just put 0123456789. It's an accepted way of stating that you do not wish to be contacted by phone.

Yep got the same bloody phone calls, 10 times and other numbers because i stupidly wanted to compare loans on money supermarket... i shall from now on be putting that telephone number so they dont contact me! bloody nuisance
