Just received a call from this number, again we are registered with the TPS and are ex-directory also, luckily didn't press 9.

Early morning call while getting ready - I just hung up when heard 'Congratulations' as the first word said.. I'm also TPS registered, and also - how do they fake the caller ID number? I thought that was supposed to be fool proof unlike email addresses..

Just to bump the link mentioned previously as it makes interesting reading and also identifies the culprits of the calls. I've just emailed them asking to be removed from the database. Some chance!

Just got a call from this bunch of shysters @14:29 today.
Got the 99999 version of their number via 1471 as I'm unlisted & TPS, as are others. Thanks to Rick 12/12 for the guardian link. Have complained to Info Commissioners Office.

This no has called past two mornings when they hear the answering machine they just hang up. When I rang it back the no isnt recognised.

Had a call too but didn't pick up

This strange telephone number keeps calling, I have not answer it as the telephone number looks suspiciously like a company cold calling

Just had a call from this number. Was able to Google it before picking up and it sent me here with the top result. Phone went unanswered.

We have been TPS for 5 years. Clearly a scam.

This number called tonight. I'm ex directory and TPS too. They hung up leaving no message when Call Minder kicked in.

Why can't these scamming [***] leave people alone . . .

I have had 10 calls from this Number starting January 3rd this year I am ex directory and TPS registered also!I never give my number on internet or anywhere always give my mobile number so have no idea how they have got it. I see it on the caller display but do not answer. Can they not be stopped???

Trying to sell holidays and getting credit card details

Called this evening @ 19:03.  (TPS & Ex-dir.)

12.10 this afternoon, reached the phone as it stopped ringing and googled the number (after identifying that the code only is from Warwickshire and all the nines seemed suspicious).

My number is public but reistered with TPS

A message left: "uh-oh," then silence. 1471-ed and discovered the above number. All the 9's looked so suspicious that I googled it and here is this message as a testimony to my curiosity.

P.S. Intriguingly, I too am TPS-ed

They're still at it. Got called last week and again this afternoon at 16.40.  The number sticks out like the poodles privates so I didn't bother answering. They hung up after listening to the answermachine.

Same as others, I'm XD and TPS

It's an international scam - they dial numbers in ascending order, we had one at work and one at home the day after.

"American man's voice, trip to florida" wife answered this call, but got cut off before I told them to remove us from database. We are reg'd with TPS & don't get many nuisance calls.

I got the same call today & I'm TPS'd too the only one or two get through tho
