My Aunt had a missed call tonight from this number - I am so glad I googled it - have warned her.

Had a call this afternoon at 3pm. Clocked the number 0178999999 hmmm that's a funny number, I'll let the answering machine get that one. Oh what a surprise they didn’t leave a message.  S**t heads! I’m ex-dir and TPS registered too. When are our telephone providers going to stop all these c**p calls?

0178999999999  yes 9 nines called today 5/03/09 @ 19:40. "Congratulations" was as far as they got before I hung up, what worries me is the extra "9's". I am TPS registered. Two minutes later recieved several number witheld calls , were they linked ?

I am ex-dir and TPS registered,and am really angry that these people are still allowed to harass us.

The phone is a necessaty for many of us,and when these scam calls come in,it is often at an odd time,alarming us in case our loved ones have bad news.

I have now had to resort to installing an answerphone,and to tell those closest to keep talking so that I can "pick up".

This number just called telling me I had won a caribbean holiday no way did I press 9.....how do these people get our number we are ex directory

Just answered the call, but because no one spoke after repeated hellos I put the phone down.

Just got one of these calls an found this site on Google. What I want to know is why the hell is it beyond the capacity of BT to prevent these call. Fortunately I'm a bit deaf and could understand what the caller was saying so I asked them to repeat it. They rang off. I got their number from my little square box which gives caller ID.

Same number rang me and googled it. Glad I did not answer it obviously the silly [***] company or scammers are still trying it on. Same story here I am ex directory too. If BT cannot sort out this problem something is wrong with them. They are just another money making company

They call me 3 in the morning 3 times I answer and they never said a word
