Just had a call, only rung a few times. How do they know my mobile number ?

had many calls today, must be national scam calling day today.
answered it and silence, called back and just beeps

Just had call on mobile, answered but no one there.

completely spurious PPI claim company call - despite TPS and every other effort to avoid getting junk calls like this

I am tired of PPI calls now, have a mass data base on phone of No not to answer. Further to frustration all they are, are postal forwarding businesses who say they get whats owed to you...they are not its the financial ombudsman:   How to complain YOURSELF......

Someone should auto dial there number constantly and block there line up! Anyone got an auto dialler?

Just Got Call From This Stupid Number Braaaaaaaaa.

Good advice from cjh - If you don't recognise the number, don't answer. Just ignore these sorts of calls. I too have been getting them for months on end and have no idea how to stop it from happening. Even TPS does not work.
