They're still at it in 2012: "We claim you gain" sort of nonsense.  Claimed I'd had a loan or used a credit card within the last 10 years and, guess what? I haven't, but it didn't stop him doing his best to hook me!

One call last night, one today from this number.   Again I am on preferred services but still they call.   I have caller ID so don't answer it but if it keeps going may be tempted to pick up and blow a whistle down their ear, perhaps they may stop then?!!

Have asked this company to remove my details from their files for the last few months, spoke to a call centre manager yesterday 30/7/2012 he assured me that he had removed my details, they then called again last night at 8.40pm!! They generally call me in the morning, as I work night shifts its getting hard to cope with being woken almost daily.

I've spoken to this person three times and had to shout at him the third time to remove me from his database.  His system has called me at least 10 times this week and it only rings for a few seconds and goes off.  I think this is to make sure people directly ring them back and they can say that we contacted them rather than the other way round.  Correct me if i'm wrong but it's illegal to offer any financial advice to a person who has not asked for any.

I will have to get to work on this company if they bug me anymore but I hate wasting my life stopping people from phoning me.

Cold calling ! Unwanted calls and texts!

Got a call from these people at 8.55am wanting to discuss my appointment with Nick Clegg next Wednesday regarding my refund from NatWest or LLoyds. When I said I had no appointment with anyone let alone Nick Clegg they repeated my full name and address and said someone from this address must have spoken to someone in the last week. When I told them no-one had and I'd been ill in bed for the last week they asked if I had taken out a loan within the last 12 years I told him it was nothing to do with him and asked why I would discuss that with a complete stranger who had called out of the blue he asked if I was sure no-one in the house had spoken to them recently, then said it must be a mistake but he couldn't understand it.
I told him I was registered with the tps and could they please take my name and number off their system and not contact me again.....let's see what happens

really annoying when u are in the middle of something which is difficult to be called away from.  Although telephone preference service works to some extent I do wish there was a way to outlaw these wretched nuisance calls.

I have picked up the phone and said I'm not interested, but calls still keep coming! Do these mindless people not have a conscious? They do not know if they are disturbing and/or worrying the old and/or infirm.
Can nothing be done to stop these nuisance calls?

I talk of old people in my previous comment - sorry, senior moment, conscious should, of course, read conscience - being an idiot, perhaps I could get a job with these nuisance callers!

Had few calls from those people in the past, last one on Friday on my mobile.  I almost always miss my mobile calls as don't carry it with me, so just noticed number on phone after. Would never ring them back, why should I? But they also ring the house number and on number of occasions I have asked politely for them to stop, as I am not interested!  However those people do not understand, so lately I have not been so polite.  But those calls continue!  Someone advised to just keep them on the phone as it saves another poor sod being bothered!

Try the "Seinfeld" response.... Say it's not a good time to call, but if you can their HOME number you'll call them back when they're at home for a chat. They tend to hang up.

Just had a call from them on my company mobile phone, looking for the wife of the man who had this phone before me...6 years ago!!

Forgot to mention it was at 815am!!
