This a call from We Claim You Gain.  Phone them back on their free phone number 0808 181 4444. I selected customer service option.  I asked to speak to a supervisor straight away and was put through immediately.  I asked him to confirm that 01792 311 560 was the number dialled out on and he siad it was.  I asked to be removed, he was very appologetic and said they obseverved the TPS (though I am registeresd).  When I gave him my number to remove it, he did reference someone that used to live in this house approx 4 years ago and said they were calling an old customer record.  He said he would delete staright away.  I will probable still report to TPS but I did believe what he was telling me.

So the advice is call back on their freephone number and complain - but keep it civil!

keep getting calls from this number and they just hang up as soon as i say hello.

this nu,ber has rang our house phone and my mobile saying his name was jamie warington didnt say where he was from or anything and ask for my gf and didnt give a reaon for the call. so i am gonna get this number traced after i have reported it to the police...

i have also had persistent calls from this so company, so i can well understand how irritating it can be when you have come in from working all day to have these clowns call you,they contacted me two weeks ago, and told me i was entitled to a refund, from overpayment of protection insurance on my credit card, they went on to say that an advisor would come to my house and go through the details, at the time i did wonder where they had got my number from!!!!, they gave me their website page, and also the claims regulator pge, of which i did go on too, this page gives you various info to ensure you know clearly what companys like wcug, are doing, and if they are reputable companys, i found this page very interesting, especialy the parts about how much commission and vat is taken from each successful claim, which could basically leave us with no compo, and in debt to them!!! there web pge was unavailable!!!!! what really annoyed me was although i told the advisor when he knocked my door, that i wasnt interested, i still had persistant calls from the above number, as my answering machine is usually left on my phone, can you imagine how i felt when it had recorded one of them talking to another colleage, and saying that an advisor had come out to my house, and i was pissed out of my head!!! well the chance would be a fine thing, i havent drank any alcohol in over a year, due to heart medication, i was angry, this morning they phoned me and i asked if he was the one who had been calling since last week? he said yes, so i told him about the recording and how unproffessional they all are, and told him that they should make sure in future that they put the reciever down before slagging off potential clients, i feel much better now  lol,

A woman called this morning from 01792 311560 saying I had a loan in the last 10 year and was due some money back. I said I had not as I have been retired for the last 14 years.

Phone call asking for someone who didn't live here anymore.
On the opt-out lists and still get these calls!

they are calling my girlfriend even thow she has never had a loan or credit card saying the will reclaim ppi what ppi she has none you stupid fatherless c@#ts.

only 25 % plus vat on the 25% charges..
so carnt be in debt.

I just got a call from this same no - Saturday morning and didn't answer as I was tied up - just tried to call it back (thinking it must have been someone I wanted to speak to) and no answer, so I did a search on here and found there are a whole load of other people getting calls from these people.
Seriously, I only have a landline for emergency (use mobile all the time but can't rely on that being charged in an emergency) and apart from my parents the only calls I get (and they are daily) are from people like this!  What is happening and how are they able to keep doing this!
I usually run to answer the phone to pick up to what i think is going to be my Mum or Dad and I get one of these jokers....drives me nuts!

I recieved a call from this Number but when I try to ring it back I get a busy tone every time ?

If you have caller ID you have an advantage, just keep a personal attack alarm by the phone "they don't like it up em" :-)

They've phoned 3 times in less than 2 days - yesterday at 9am, this morning at 8.50am & again at 1.40pm (despite being told this morning that we are TPS registered & ex-directory & to remove the number from their records immediately!)
All to do with PPI but they are just guessing that people have credit cards/loans etc.
Don't give them the time of day & report them to TPS/OFCOM & anyone else that can take action against them! We are!

We have 2 phones lines and in the last 3 days, 01792 311560 has called 7 times with its recorded message which starts "our records show you have taken out a loan" - which is a complete untruth as we have never done so.

So this is a scam based on lies.

Last time they rang I told them to remove my number from their database and that I was also registered with TPS. Can't understand the person speaking but seems to be that they cold call for various companies. What have we got to do to stop these pests.

I was called this morning 'can claim back payments..etc'   They knew my name.
I said I was on the Telephone Preference scheme so they were acting illegally by calling me.  Caller said 'you have to renew the Preference Scheme every 6 months, so he was not acting illegally'  !!!!
This is a complete lie - you stay on the Scheme until you want to come off.  
I have reported the caller to the TPS.   Suggest everyone else does the same
