received call yesterday, no message left. Really fed up of all these strange numbers ringing during the day. Another number added to my barred list on my phone!

theres is only one sure way to make sure cold callers remove your details from there system and its so easy and you dont even have to get angry and start shouting when they call up and ask to speak to a miss or mr ****** you just say im sorry but miss or mr****** sadly passed away quite recently they then remove your data info as dead data although i once got one lady asking for my partner after telling them my partner had passes away they tried selling me there products give it a try

If you have an iPhone, there's a free  App called TrueCaller which you can use to filter spam and unwanted calls. I've just added this number to the list and won't be bothered by it again! It also uploads all of the standard spam numbers. We can fight back!!

Guy came on line,  knew mine and my husbands name and address, it was regarding a ppi claim, I dont recall him saying where he was from, I dailled number back and it just rang and rang and rang and then line went off.

I received a call regarding overpayment of some kind of Insurance.  I did not go into details, but gave him short thrift.  He stated he had my mobile number on a database.  I told him I would take legal action if I was contacted again.  Had I not been doing something else when I received the call, I would have got more detail out of him, but I didn't, so there we go.

I have tried ringing the number but there is no reply.

Just had a call of this number but i never answered. If you dont recognise a number dont answer, if they are genuine they will a voicemail or a text

received a call from this number on 17th Aug.  We were away, so I answered in case it was someone who normally calls me at home.  Caller asked for "Mrs ......" - told him that was not my name.  Asked where he was calling from and he said "We Claim You Gain".  Repeated that I was not the person he was looking for and asked him to take my number off their database.  He said "That will be £2.50 please".  When I asked him what would be £2.50, he said that that was the charge for removing my number from their database!  I expressed my utter disbelief and told him that I was hanging up.  

This must be extortion: in effect he is saying pay us £2.50 or you will continue to get unwanted calls from us.  Does anyone know who I can report the company to?

Absolutely sick to death of this number and the cretins rang me 7 times TODAY starting at 8 this morning.  I had to have the phone plugged in today as I'm expecting a personal call - but they can never get through because these b***ds are always ringing me.  Sick sick sick to death of it and there's no way to stop it - even if you pay for a service to block them

Do you really think that's the end of it?  Get real.  They call me more than 7 times EVERY DAY AND HAVE DONE SINCE 2006.  Enjoy - because you'll never get rid.

everyday now, for the last few weeks, eventually they just left a one word message "CLASSIC" on the answering machine. My number is a  private number, registered with the TPS also.  I told several companies at easter time, to take me off their lists, this company refused to it seems. All others did comply, not these jokers.
Just wondering if i can get these toads through UL harrasment law, I would.

Just had a call.  Couldn't answer the phone - was otherwise engaged! Dialled 1471 and it was this pesky number.  Who the hell are they and what do they want?

4 calls this morning after I had asked them to remove me from their database. Financial Ombudsman needs to know about this. All about reclaiming protection insurance

Your line rental provider is selling your number to these companies. This is illegal and breaks data protection. You need to report them to ofcom. I have a call number that no one and I mean no one has the number to yet I still get people from call centres ringing me. I compalined bitterly to the phone provider and then I had a call from a young man who told me that the telecoms company had been selling the numbers.

Do not under any circumstances ring back any number you do not know as you will be charge for the call.  Some of this money will  go to the company that has just called you. Report all calls to ofcom and phone your telecoms provider and demand to know why these numbers are on your bill. Log the call, date and time and present this to them and demand your money back. This has to stop and it will only stop if we all complain.

just had a call from this number asking for Paul kenneth Scott? did not say who they were and before i had time to ask the phone hung up.

Thanks for all of your info, I found it really helpful, as I too have all of the calls from the numbers that have been mentioned (and more).  I wish they would stop!!!! do you think anyone is every silly enough to go ahead with what the are offering.  I hope not.

Government should stop them they disturb everybody every day

Just had a call from them as i was upstairs with the baby who had finally just got to sleep only to hear the phone ring. And now i have a screaming baby. Surely they shouldnt ring after 9pm (or am i just getting old lol)

They are complete pests, they ring and ring and dont listen when I ask them not to ring again.....block them on your phone.

I have received this call from 01792311560 too,They call my landline, I don't know how long they have been calling me because we have just been back to UK. I don't call them back, but come to check with this site first
also I won't ask them to removed me from their database because I know that they will ring me back again and again. *My landline with virgin, it set to ring only 3 times then straight to voice mail.
whoever call me I never have chance to answer because it's ring only 3 times
*If it important calls they will leave me messages, I get used to with it now when the phone ring, I ignored it then check messages or numbers.

These idiots rang me on my mobile at midnight soon after I fell asleep. on one occasion they even blocked my number with music being played on back somehow and at the same time I had my kids school ringing me and could'nt manage to get through. I think government should do something about it now.
