first call for me too, and based on all the other comments here i guess i am in for a daily repeat at least now. Thanks for the heads up from all the other posters....interestingly i am currently on O2 too so it does make you wonder if there is some connection....

Called me and hung up I'm on O2 contract.

I get calls from this number on a daily basis am or pm (around 5.00pm. It is very annoying. I have reported it.
They should be traced and stopped.

Just don't want to get unindated with these calls..

Just received a call from them, but was on landline at the time so didn't call back.  Thought it was someone with bad news, but just incase it was a hoax, I thought I would google the number..  Glad I did, as I found this!!!  I too am on 02.  But will just ignore any more calls..

can i just ask what provider u r all with? cos i noticed a few syaing o2 n thats who im with too! i never put my mobile number down on anything so dont know where they are getting my number from. they ring me all the time, saying my contract is due to expire when its not, and sometimes they dont say anythin just hang up! so annoying!!

Try and block the number from calling you. Some phones allow you to block the caller. They are calling me... if i want a new phone/contract i will do it myself, i dont need people telling me i need a new one! grrr! x

This number keeps calling (2-3 x per day).  If I answer I can hear call centre noises and then they hang up. Its pretty annoying!

One time, they called me anf when I asked to repeat what they said (because I don't understand strong welsh accents living near London!) and he repeated it in a way that completey patronised me!!

Now they keep calling and I have specifically told them not to.

If they call me again, I am going to the police for harassment!!!!!!

calls started 1/02/09 dont have a clue who they are or how they have my details glad i'm not alone on this one and will give them a peice of my mind after reading all these posts !

they call me atleast once a day and i cant hear anything from the other side this has been going on for about 2 months i dont even answer it anymore

Try this i have just registered. Not sure if it works yet but its worth a try, these calls are really annoying, had four calls yesterday and one this morning so far that is. I have been quite polite on the phone but not anymore :( Grrrr! :(

Yep, just had them call me. Apparently I "must have more money than sense" when I said I was happy to look into contracts myself.

I suspect they don't have a "database" at all, just systematically call random numbers as he called me "sir" and said I had "3 or 4" months to go on my contract despite it actually being 6 months...

He just hung up on me in the end. Very pleasant man; not.

Ive been getting about 2-3 calls a day too! People are saying that its got something to do with 3... but im on Vodaphone.. I just dont answer it!

The only reason I haven't picked up is because the area code is one I don't recognise therefore I believe it has nothing to do with me, I've been on holiday and decided to look it up on whocallsme when I got home - for the past two weeks I have had an average of 5 calls a day - even late at night! It's ridiculous. I'm saving the number under scam, next time they call I'm going to tell them to shove it! Might try Dazz's ofcom link in meantime. Pests!

Forever Calling, but not speaking and hanging up...
Phoned Back SPLASH ONLINE, They said "I was due for an upgrade". I've only just got a new contract recently, so I told them to get rid of my number and stop cold calling me... SCAMMING BLEEDERS!

Just had Splash Online call me. They told me that my contratc was in my "Renewel Period". I asked where they got this information. They told me that it apperears on their dtatabase. Yeah right!!!!!
I also asked how long this period is, and they said that it is between 1-6 months. It's funny, if my contract was up for renewel, I would of had a letter through from O2.
I simply told them that when my contract was up for renewel, only then will I start looking.
