im not with orange i keep gettin phone calls 2-4 times aday aswell but it is annoying me cozz im in college n my phone keeps going off

My old aunt got a call from Lifestyle claims saying she was due a refund of money. I would say this is a scam of some sort. Ignore them

Me too! They want you to part with £300 up front and over the 'phone with some spurious tale that they can recover over paid insurance from credit card companies. They won't send out any forms to your home address without the payment which they want to take over the telephone. Very dodgy in my view, don't give them houseroom!

I didn't part with any cash, but did go through the claim with them, they ask you for payment right at the end of the discussion.

this is lifestyle claims offering to get you ppi back from misold loans mortgages credit cards etc , you get the idea proper annoying dont seem to understand no thanks

i kept getting silent calls from this number so i answerd silent a few times and waited for sum1 to speak, a few calls later they eventualy spoke and asked for a mr ******. i know this person to be the last tennant of the house i live in (over a year ago), so i asked who they are and he hung up. idiots!

This number is calling me every single day. I keep ignoring it, they never leave a message.

I get several texts and calls a week from loan and debt consolidation companies. I don't even have any debt! I don't know how they got my number. I'm on O2!

Had a call asking for me by name. The guy said the government have ordered banks to repay charges and they can get my bank to repay any charges owed to me. He seemed very pissed off when I refused to tell him what high street bank I used. I told him I'm not in the habit of giving out personal details to complete strangers who call me up, he then tried to insist he wasn't a stranger and direct me to some website, which I also refused to do.

After a while he said "Well you don't seem interested so I'm going to finish the call here sir." but it took him a good 5 minutes of trying before he got the point.

I today received a call from this number, 1) Complained they were calling during working hours 2) Where did they get my number from? The guy on the other end of the phone asked if I had received claims from my bank!!! As I went to disconnet he did suggest calling me at another time!! WHY DO WE KEEP RECEIVING THESE ANNOYING CALLS?? HOW DO I PUT A BLOCK ON MY MOBILE AND WHY CAN WE NOT HAVE A CONTACT TO REPORT THESE CALLS AS AVAILABLE FOR LANDLINES!!

I'm a pensioner and had a call from Dean Harding today claiming he could get about £5000 back from the Halifax for me he wanted my card details - which I didn't give to him, my daughter has looked on the internet for me and it looks like it is a scam. He sounded very convincing and I'm concerned he might rip off unsuspecting others - he very nearly got me!

you can block the number on your mobile phone

on the options for the phone number just click reject and it will stop it immediately

I keep getting calls from them but I'm an o2 pas and go customer. Looks like they are branching out to all the networks.

Best way to deal with these types of people is to string them along and say all the things they want to hear (without giving any correct information) and then ask to speek to a manager, when they come on give them all the insulting comments you can make about the agent. See if you can get them fired.

This number rung me up asking for a andrew, I tryed explaining I wasnt him, they then went on to tell me about claiming the money being owned back on credit cards, after 10 minutes they stopped talking, I then told them I wasn't old enough for a credit card, the line suddenly went dead, I rung them back and did the same to the woman, she seemed very confused. they wanna waste my time I'll waste theirs!

i have received a number of calls from this number this afternoon. i am currently in the Swansea area when i m usually the other side of the country. This is a bit strange if they know i'm here? As this never actually happened prior to my coming to the Swansea area.
