Called me - they didn't say anything to me, just hung up after 5 seconds of background noise?

This number just rang me!! I never answer my phone to numbers i don't recognise! I googled the number and this discussion came up!!
I take it that its recommended that i just don't talk to this person!

I foolishly thought it was o2 because they said they were, i told my husband and try to call them back but they dont answer , they have all my card details which again i was very silly, even gave then my d o b , but i cancelled my card and am going to refuse the phone, the sales people were very clever but i am going to stay clear, i am just worried they have lots of my details

me again , is that the best thing to do , refuse the phone, is any one sure that my bank and personal details will be safe , these companies should be banned , i cant sleep through worrying

Got a missed call earlier from this number, thought I'd check it out. Does looka little dodgy and I am registered with the TPS! 2nd call in 2days from these sort of people, whats going on?

They called me to answered then they hung up!!

Pretty similar experience to yourselves. Phone rings a few times then rings off. Will simply block the number.

They called me while I was in Spain and I said I would consider it. Read about them and have changed my mind. THey have none of my personal details apart from my phone number but have called me about 20 times yesterday and again 15 minutes ago.
If any of you are on O2 I'd advise calling their nuisance call service and getting the number blocked.

this company called me pretty much as soon as i got a new contract with O2. they said they were gonna reduce my insurance payment with a one off payment. i stupidly paid them something like 50 quid. they said they would cancel my other isurance payment with O2 but they didnt and when i asked why they had no record of me ever paying them anything. it's a scam trust me. they have all your details aswell so it seems pretty legit but it isn't.

A girl phoned me and said they can offer me an upgrade and my contract is due for renewal. I said it's company paid, she hung up.
The following day I took a call from this number, it was silent.

This numbered called me today, I didn't answer it luckily! I'm with o2 also and it seems alot of people writing comments here are also on o2!

My GF just recieved a call on her phone stating they were from o2, I'm hoping they will call back later so I can give them a piece of my mind...

Contract was renewed in September but they claim it is up for renewal now.

I had a call from them at 5pm yesterday saying my contract was due for renewal when i only renewed it in august with o2 directly for 18 months looking forward to more calls in 14 months time off them then i guess.

Don't trust scammers like these - surely if you wanted to renew your contract you could do it yourself?

I just had a call from this number.  I was wary as I didnt recognise it, there was a man at the other end saying his name was Paul Daniels, from o2 contract or something, I couldnt really hear him, so told him to call back.  I look forward to his call now after reading this, will have a bit of fun leading him on. By the way I am on O2 also.

Called me 5 times in the last week, 3 times hung up on me when I took the call.

Missed out the phone. Call back, go to the voice mail, says that they are from the "Freephone4u" company. After get the call, try to search for this number, 01792828102. Must be a scam.

someone called me from this number and said my contract is due in march, i told them what i was getting and was told i could have 800 mins a month for £34 which i wasnt interested. i kept telling her i wasnt interested and she just put the phone down on me. i was gonna ring and complain but after reading these comments i dont think i will bother.

I got a call from this number. The first time I got it, last Monday, I automatically answered and the phone went dead. I then got another call on the Tuesday which I ignored and looked online to see if it was a scam.

Now, a week later, they have called me again.

Does anyone actually know who the number is?

this number rang me didnt leave a message and when i rang back there was no answer, my contract doesnt end til sept!!!
