- PaulThe TPS only works if the company have actually signed up to the agreement... if they haven't, they are not bound by it.
- Caller: Homeserve
- RitaOnly professional companies operate under the TPS guidelines.
ALL OTHERS ARE THEREFORE COWBOYS ! - Robert AxtonCalled 3 times on 19th Nov 08 and on a number of occasions previously. This is becoming a nuisance and surely constitutes harassment.
- somebodyRita shut up cos you are boring. If they were illegal then they would have been shut down by now. Surely there are worse things in the world than this. You are really sad. how is the complaint with OFCOM going. Homeserve out of business yet?. Nope. Oh well, you have time to find something else to moan about now.
- MarioPerché continu aare squillare il mio numero prego - sono in Italia?
- RitaOh dear - it looks like they're going down the pan .....
Losing customers, getting rid of staff and a possible £3 million fall in profits.
Read the ugly truth here:-

Thank you. - AnonBefore you fill in that form it is worth reading the bit that says OFCOM will not respond to you and will not even investigate unless they think it is a cause for concern. So it just goes to show that they aint that interested and will only investigate to shut up you lot moaning.
- AnonIts also worth noting the section that asks you to UNTICK the box if you do not want OFCOM to pass on your details to third parties. I thought i would make you all aware of that as you were obviously too bl**dy stupid to untick those boxes on previous forms you may have filled in. That is how Homeserve got your number in the first place idiots.
Just good to make you aware otherwise one of you may set up a complaint forum about ofcom next. Anything is possible with you people. Except common sense. - EmployeeNo Rita read properly. It says profit was £14m. And you think that customers cancelling policies does not have anything to do with the recession. Do you actually read what you write or do you just type words and hope that the finished article looks ok. I think the latter is the case.
- RitaHey Muppet,
Here's the headline from The Times - try reading it slowly .....
"Homeserve says £3m fall in profits possible"
No wonder they are going to clear out some staff with plonkers like you working there. - BrianAt last, OFCOM have put their complaints form on-line - click here to submit your comments about these cowboys operators:-

Thank you. - BrianRita,
You forgot to mention about their fall in "retention rates". Which is basically, existing customers not renewing their contracts (probably fed up with all the silent phone calls they get).
Anyway, you'll find more details by clicking here .....

Thank you for your input. - employeeIt does not bother me. I have a job its good money and they pay me to keep calling you when you wont answer
- EmployeeRita has resorted to calling people names now. Ha Ha, how childish. I used to call my friends a muppet when i was in school. Whats wrong, cant think of a decent comeback
- hoorayhenWhenever I get these calls, I ask them to wait while I get the person they are calling for. I put the phone on the side and start my stopwatch. Every now and then I listen to see if they are still there. My record so far is 8 minutes (I can't remember the company). A least this way I get a bit of entertainment while wasting their time. Also, they're not earning money while waiting. Give it a go!
- PaulI had three calls today from this number. I phoned Homeserve customer services on 0800 783 0951. They told me they would take my number off their system. They claimed they are not aware of the problem! I suggested they look on the internet at the number of complaints. I will now contact the insurance company who uses Homeserve to provide me with emergency cover, and complain to them about the use of my number for unpleasant calls apparently associated with marketing of other services.
- MarkI'm ex directory and have told these people never to phone again but they still persist. You tell them you're not interested and they say "why" and still go on. It's a crap product anyway. My sister had it and every time she tried to claim something they had an excuse. I hate insurance companies!
- Caller: Homeserve
- P MayfieldThis number called me twice today. I'm supposedly signed up for no junk calls. I ignored the calls because I work from home and had a pressing deadline and when it went through to answerphone, it stopped immediately.
- JHDI was just called by this number. Initially no-one on the other end then a male gurgle sound then they hung up. Homeserve have been calling us repeatedly over the past few weeks despite us telling them each time that we are not renewing - very poor customer service
