Nuisance calls - twice today - silent call

They called and knew my name. He would not identify himself so I told him to F**K off. 1-0 to me haha.

Report them to ofcom here. http://www.ofcom.org.uk/complain/landline/silent/?itemid=284912 Ofcom will not act on individual cases but if enough people complain they will stop it and/or fine them.

I received the call.  When I spoke, no one replied.  I tried several times, but it was as if the line was dead.

Have had three calls today off 01922420057, two in the space of 20 minutes. Its unbelievably irritating and they need to be stopped, I don't see why people should have to put things on their phone account to stpp these calls, the companies should be stopped themselves.

they keep calling everyday around 1pm.... Im going to complain.

Homeserver insurance. We were covered by them for a burst water main that had burst in our front garden. Sent a plummer to fit it, he had to run a new mains water pipe through our garage because he could'nt be bothered to fix/renew the old one (too much like hard work). Had to wait for some blokes to dig a trench, then the plummer put the new pipe in, next day blokes filled in the trench (just like the old 'Carry On' films,with Mr Spanner). Day after they finished, the garage flooded, over £3,000 damage because the plummer had used a new experimental joint that he was given free by some company. We had to call him back out to which his comment was 'That's happened twice this week with these new joints, I must have a faulty batch'. So when we contacted Homeserve they said we would have to claim off our home insurance, it was nothing to do with them.
So now after 2 years since we got flooded, when they phone , I remind them of the fact that they flooded our home, they soon went away! But having say that, I did have a call today claiming that they was South West Water. When I asked the Asian chap where he was phoning from he told me, Walsall West Midlands, and not Cornwall. So I asked him again, who are you, and that's when he said Homeserve. He lied to me, claiming to be SWW. Watch them, they are getting crafty!!

get about 8 calls a day

Rang today and no-one there when I answered, I put phone down but couldn't even do 1471 for a good 5 minutes as they were still connected-idiots!

Rang 6 times in 4 hours. Very very annoying.

This is Homeserve...

Got really fed up so I rang them (got a 0800 number off the internet) and asked them to 'please' stop calling me. Lady was very polite, took my phone number and said "No problem, I'll take you off the dialer". As simple as that.

I'm pregnant with a toddler in tow - can't tell you how annoying it is to rush to the phone only to find that it's a bogus (let's get our dialing figures up) call.

I suggest you do the same if you're getting bothered by them.

Won't take no for an answer

I have been receiving calls all week asking for someone that does not even live here or never has done. I have politely (well I did the first 2 or 3 times!)told them they have the wrong phone number and to update their records.  I have asked them about 10 times now, and still nothing has been done. :o(

This no calls every day sometimes more that Once. Never answer it though

Keep getting calls that I dont want.

These have called me around 6 times already today and its not the first time they have tried!!  I know let my 5 year old answer and she sings them a song down the phone and then hangs up on them.  They must think we're barmy but they haven't phoned back since!!!
