this is Homeserve Insurance who keep on ringing to speak to my husband. I just say yes o.k. I'll get him, then I lay the receiver down and let them wait...they get tired of waiting eventually, but unfortunately dont seem to get tired of calling

Homeserve - either trying to get you to insure your mains water supply pipe or to sell you home electrical circuit insurance

I get this call nearly everyday and its normally around the time where i am relaxing to have my tea. Very annoying seeing as i am trying to relax

Keep getting calls from 01922 420057 but the caller hangs up when I answer the phone !

Good for you; I enjoy your comments. I don't, though, enjoy the telephone calls.

Homeserve called again and, for the third time, I asked them to take my name off their database. Let's see.

Yet another call from them..

I don't know how they got hold of our (ex-directory) number, but they appear insistent to talk to people who don't actually live here, and I've lived here for nearly 10 years!!

Believe me, as a disabled (and therefore nearly always at home) home owner, they will get tired of me putting the handset down on them before I do..

They just called me.....I asked for the persons home phone number so I could ring them back when they were eating their evening meal, then told them to p*** off!
Sorry if that sounds rude but they are a nuisance and might just cross me off their list.

Me: "Oh, I'm afraid I'm not interested thanks" [very polite]
Caller: "I Haven't told you the reason for my call yet!" [quite irate]

Can't be true. I received a call from them this morning at 11:34am

The ruder you are to telesales agents, The more difficult you make it for yourselves. After being spoken to in such a discgusting manner by the general republic for 8 hours all day every day i can glady say people like you, make people like us ILL. Telesales agents are normally 18-24 year olds who are just trying to make a living, youd all complain if we were on the dole wouldnt you? "oh the youth of today sit around doing nothing" When we are u treat us disgustingly. Its just a job that we have to do, because of the climate we cant get anything else. Working for a call centre myself, and after the treatment you people seem to enjoy giving us on the phone. I can safely say, As of 6pm this evening i left call centre work. A very depressed person. You may get 1 call that lasts a few seconds at an inconvinient time. Just stop and think, the person on the other end of the phone deals with people being rude to them ALL DAY. How would you feel if that was your son or daughter on the other end of the phone? And somebody behaved in the same way you did. We are ment to respect our elders, You people who boast about how you "deal" with telesales agents maybe need to stop and think. There are better ways of dealing with annoyance than shooting the messenger.

Ok, there is overtime. Not 2 o clok in the morning though.

Homeserve called again, to sell Boiler maintenance.

We had a polite few words wherein I explained that I have had a least a half dozen such calls, and the lady said she would record a note that said I wanted no more.

Let's see. Again.

i wish i'd kept EVERY LETTER and NOTED EVERY PHONE CALL I'VE HAD FROM THEM.......

they just hound and hound and wont take NO for an answer!

These people have been calling me ALL day, they're driving me mad. I have to find a way to get my own back on them!!

Every time they call I have to say hello at least three times and then I have to tell them to remove my number from their list, only for them to call back an hour later. Idiots!

Strikes me that telesales agents could help themselves if just once they would accept a polite "thanks but no thanks" and leave it at that? And yes I have worked in a call centre but where i worked (a home insurance outfit) it was a case of the punters calling you when they needed something which is how it should be.

Said they were from Santader, they are actually from Homeserve trying to sell you cheap household and maintenance insurance. Give these people a wide birth.

These lot have now rang 5 times in the last 2 days - no message left? As I've been typing this would you believe it they have phoned again - said it was a follow up call as they have done a couple of jobs in my house in the last week or so. I asked why could they not leave a message and they said they weren't allowed to???? Does that make sense??? Anyway I finally got the chap on the other end to take my name off their contact list so we will see???

Homeserve - These guys keep calling my mobile but don't leave a message, think I will put them on hold next time too, don't know how they got my number?
