Rang three times today and they hung up twice once I already picked up :@

homeserve are a legit co.part of directline insurance,they cover your boilers,central heating etc.you do see the odd van about.

I have the same problem with them. They won't go away.

Repetative calls bloody annoying

Don't just complain here about receiveing the phonecalls, that will not make them stop.

1. When they call, pick up and inform them that you do not wish to be contacted by Homeserve. Guidelines are that they shouldn't call again (but they probably will).

2. File a silent ophone call complaint with Ofcom

I've just started getting calls from this number so have put it on the 'barred number' list in the phone.

Homeserve hits my answering machine everyday. I get calls from 001922420057. I am not their customer and I never was. My number is on the TPS list (Telephone Preference Service - you can submit your phone number if you don't want to be cold called by anyone; to register:  http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/). Homeserve say they bought data from the company called Expirian.  As it clearly shows Homeserve don't check if the phone numbers they have are on the TPS exclusion list. By calling me they break the law.

Again, again, again. Even though I hang up on these people I have silent calls. When I put the phone down I have to wait for about 15 or more seconds before I can dial out to find out WTF is going on.

They really ought to have learned by now.

This is "Homeserve" trying to sell you a product. Since Feb 1st 2011 it is illegal to make such calls and not leave a message. I have received 5 calls in the last two days ( 8th and 9th Feb. I have also reported them to OFCOM

three days running now this company have rang me, when i get round to answer the phone , there is no one there, this company is a flaming pest.

this has been going on for months now, really p***ed off already shouted at 2 people and told them i am NOT interested so what is their problem ? ??? ? i just press answer now but dont speak why can't something be done about this?

This company keeps calling me and won't stop trying to sell me insurance for products I've owned for years. I tell them no every time and I am on the telephone preference service, but they are exampt because of the products I purchased. I wish I could get rid of them. If something went wrong, my husband is more likely to be able to fix the appliances than their technicians are.

I answered this today, they were  just wanting to know if i wanted insurance for a kitchen product i bought 5 years ago!!
think people getting carried away with...............silent calls!! it is an auto- mated system that dials several numbers at once and if you pick up and so does a number of others it goes quiet till they "answer you"!!

best as previous suggestions put in caller display as "don't answer"........... i now have about a dozen under that name as well

I answered after letting it just ring for almost 5 times a day and told ten that they had the wrong number, cleared the calls right up!

We get 3 - 4 calls from this number a day. Answered it the first time and know they want to sell us some insurance we don't want. How do we block this number?
