They're the kind of people who'd steal kids bikes: minimum wage I know, but honestly, how do they sleep at night?

I cancelled a direct debit due to them by mistake - had about 10 / 11 phone calls - finally was in when they rang to clear up my 99 pence, yes 99 pence debt! - tossers.

i keep getting called by this number and they sy it its Homeserve when you return the call. Very annoying and I wish they would stop

I get fed up of Homeserve ringing me, i have water, gas and electric cover with them (will be cancelling at renewal) and they are now trying to sell me home buildings and contencts, once they have your business for one thing, they won't stop hassling you to take out other things.  One another note, when i did have a problem with a burst water pipe, Homeserve were excellent and sent a plumber out to me within half an hour to mend it, so the service was excellent! Wish they would stop hassling me though.

This is a computer generated call which dials all numbers in a telephone exchange area.
I thought this was illegal and I will speak with telecomms about it.

Re my earlier comment I notice HOMESERVE have 3 x 0800 numbers which will cost them money to deal with. I leave this thought to your imagination.

For the umteenth time I have answered my phone and there is nobody there. When I ring the number it is Homeserve, they are obviously using diallers.
I have logged straight into internet banking and cancelled my standing orders with them.

Had 2 calls where the connection took a few seconds so I cut them off.  I did a check on this website, found it was Homeserve with whom I have water problem insurance.  3rd call I waited and spoke to the salesperson.  I have increased my cover with them happily so now they can dig up my garden and find a suspected water leak.  It ain't all bad.

They are persistent. Even when you tell them no another phone call will be en route in another month or so. I will now try to get them to remove me from their database.

This number calls me everyday, few times a day, and because I first thought it suspicious, I just don't answer and they leave no message, and they keep trying. If it is Homeserve, I have already told them repeatedly in the past, that I am not interested! They don't accept it. Do they?!

I have received a lot of calls from this number but when I pick up the phone they disconnect. Whatever their logic it is very frustrating. I have now registered my number with Telephone Preference Service to see if it makes any difference. The web site is www.tpsonline.org.uk/tps (worth a read)

They continued to call us then my mum spoke to them and said she wasn't interested, but they were so pushy and rude. Aparently it is for insurance for pipes etc. All they kept saying was 'YES but what would you do it your pipes burst' she ended up just saying 'LOOK, I don't want the bloody insurance alright' and just hung up.

And today they called again...

registered with TPS, XD but got a call from this number, filter all calls through an answering machine but no message left.

I've had 4 or 5 calls from this number this week - the one time I was home, I picked up and - nothing. I didn't really expect to be able to find anything out about it online, but glad I googled it!

As someone else said, I'm signed up for the TPS, so why am I still getting this number???

They called before, but because I have the number stored in my 'blacklist' database (Scam List), they couldn't get through and my phone cancelled it for me withouth it even ringing!  But the number showed in my Log File that they tried to call.

They phoned me and didnt say anything-whtas the point in that, they didnt even try and sell me anything.

Currently a customer of homeserve for plumbing cover we cancelled direct debit and cover...so we have been getting alot of call's through day that we missed whilst at work.
Turns out they wanted to ask why we cancelled and if we would extend our cover for the rest of the year for a reduced premium.
Amazing how you can cancel cover and end up paying less in the end:)
