    Thinks it is amazing how they have the nerve to set up again whilst still owing LOYAL staff there money!!!

    They should all be ashamed of themselves whislt there driving round in their Audi bentley and bmw's starting up there new company it is the support staff that have been left with nothing and struggling to keep their heads above water!!!

    They should not be allowed to set up again and if i hear correctly they are only able to deal with one network as no-one else will touch them so hopefully one day they will fall flat on their face too!!!!

    They shafted their customers and there staff!!!! Mybe one day Karma will come back around and they will feel what they have put us through.....and to all the staff that have gone back....

    I have been reading the comments on here for the last couple of weeks and i have gone from p**sed off at what happened, to p*ssed off at some of the rubbish that has been posted on here.

    I dont know anyone at any level in the company that has come out of this with no pain, no one got paid and even now there are people who are still waiting for the money that they are owed, me included. There are some messages on FB that give a good contact number for staff to phone to find out where their money is.

    I have been lucky enough to find another job starting next week but I have still had to borrow money and put my mortgage on hold for 3 months.

    Am I bitter? Do I think that Dave/Vince/Lacey are to blame? I was bitter and I did blame people but the more I have found out, the more I have talked to people who know more about what happened, the more I begin to believe that people worked at Geko (at any level) were hard working and did everything they could to get the company to survive. It didnt work out but that shouldnt be a reason for people to make up stuff.

    I am not going to waste my life making things up or hoping people have to go through what me and my family have been through, i wouldnt wish that on any one.

    it had been running for 10 years+ and had great foundations, the thing is the warrilows were paid crazy wages and all they contributed were dodgy deals which then destroyed customer relations 12-18 months down the line.  and lacey, bless her, for me her heart was in the right place but she was simply not a sales person who could drive the right behaviours.  same with ben, nice guy but very weak at sales.  i hope DC does set up again, i'd work for him, he just needs to get rid of the monkeys that pulled him down last time

    Well what would you suggest? I can spend my life blaming people (regardless of the facts) or I can decide that I am not the first person to work for a company that goes bust and I wont be the last.

    My opinion is that people could have done things differently, changes could have been made earlier, mistakes were made about who was doing what role in the company, but I do not believe that any one has come out of this smelling of roses and it is too easy to just say that it was ALL down to greed or crap managers or some other conspiracy.

    As I said this is my opinion and I know that some people want or need to believe that Dave is responsible for everything that went wrong. I just think that I would prefer to put all of this behind me and look forward rather than backwards. I struggle to see how this attitude can have impacted on the company going bump.

    The business failed because of bad business practice, and bad management!  Other businesses had to adapt to the current climate.  The blame lies with the people at the top.  As for people being loyal to Dave Carter and his band of merry-men; you're fools!  He's royally shafted you once, and you're going back for seconds. You're putting your faith back into a failed team, fools! You deserve what you get! Enjoy!

    Please google this company as they are calling all the orange customers and pretending that they have had nothing to do with Geko all the money that they did not pay to the customers they have used this to pay for there new company...... lets see how long this lasts

    Ok, I have done a little research on the above comments and didn't like what I found.

    **Buyer Beware** - Follow this link http://jelly-tree.co.uk/home.html and click on the Terms & Conditions button. These ridiculous T&Cs are almost identical to those of Geko Directs (I noticed they have been tweaked a bit so that you have to pay £30 if you change your mind within your 7 days cancellation period & want to swap your phone, how fair and committed to customer service is that??) If you upgrade or do any type of business with them, they tie you into all this (legal?) small print so if you do not complete your minimum contract term with the network, even by 1 day, it will allow them to invoice you for breach of their contract which will be very costly. It takes away your right to seek out better deals from other 3rd parties with the correct accreditations or even the network directly. Also be aware of any line renal offers they make you. Again, in the T&Cs any credits to discount the line rental from the company will not show until the end of the month after 120 days & you have to supply an invoice within the first 30 days of connection. All very complicated I’m sure you will agree and this will only happen after authorisation is granted which means another reason not to pay!
    Please remember, this company is being run by the management of failed Geko Direct. This should make alarm bells start ringing!!
    There are companies that do not make you jump through all these hoops & hide in all this small print.
    If you want to find an accredited Business Partner of Orange who will work for you, you would be wise to visit the Orange website http://www1.orange.co.uk/businesspartners/  and in the drop down box, go to ‘Approved Level’ There are 15 accredited Orange Business Partners in the UK from which to choose.

    Jelly Tree Limited – Terms and Conditions of Business You should read these terms and conditions carefully:
    Definitions
    We, us means Jelly Tree Limited, a company registered in England with registered number 7627233,You means the End User,
    the Network means the Mobile Phone Service Provider. Mobile Phone Equipment means any cellular telephone supplied under
    this contract. Item means any Mobile Phone Equipment, accessory, promotional items and other goods supplied under this contract.
    Mobile Phone Equipment Offer
    All offers made by us for Mobile Phone Equipment are limited period offers subject to availability and subject to status. We will carry out a credit check prior to acceptance of your order. Details of the Offer and the Package price are described in the Proposal sent to you under separate cover, or as covered in the recorded scripted sales call between our agent and yourselves.
    Airtime Contract
    All Mobile Phone Equipment is supplied subject to a minimum term airtime contract through the relevant Network. The Network Terms and Conditions of Supply of Cellular Telephone Services that apply to the supply of airtime under this contract are already with you (at signature stage).
    Connection to the Network
    Your contract with the Network for connection to the network is subject to status and acceptance by the Network.
    Ownership
    Ownership of the item will not pass to you until such time as we have received payment of the retail price in full. In the case of Mobile Phone Equipment offers, ownership shall not pass until you have fulfilled the minimum term of the airtime contract until migration period and your contract with us. If you terminate the airtime contract before the minimum term until migration period has been satisfied or amend the contract in any without our express consent, you will be responsible for repaying us the original Sim free retail price of the Mobile Phone Equipment at the date of your original connection and we reserve the right to charge you for any losses howsoever incurred by us, not limited to any income lost by us.
    Quotations
    All quotations are based solely on information provided by You to Us ( for example contract end dates, tariff /billing information, number of handsets, current network or 3rd party provider contract terms) and we cannot accept any liability for mistakes made in calculating tariffs at the point of Contract. Acceptance of the quotation is deemed as evidence that You understand and fully accept these terms and conditions and the terms and conditions of the Network. We reserve the right to withdraw/amend any part of the quotation at any time from the date of the Purchase Order to the end of the cancellation period should it come to light that any information provided by You is inaccurate. You will provide to Us any additional information required to allow us to set up your new mobile phone account, and this information will be provided in a timely manner
    Delivery
    Delivery of Mobile Phone Equipment and other items will be made to an address in mainland UK only. We shall endeavour to deliver the items within 4 working days of your order. This delivery period is an estimate only and we cannot accept responsibility for late delivery unless the delay exceeds a period of thirty days from the date of your order. We cannot accept responsibility for late delivery due to insufficient or wrong information provided, or delays in the connection process, this includes mandatory proofs requested by the Network and completion of the Network contract. Goods received damaged or with items missing must be reported to us within 24 hours of delivery.
    Free Gifts / Promotional Items
    Free gifts/Sim Free handsets, excluding accessories that are given away in conjunction with a Mobile Phone Equipment purchase may be dispatched under separate cover, approximately 28 days after the Mobile Phone Equipment has been delivered. However, if the contract is terminated within 120 days of connection we will withdraw the offer of the gift or You will be responsible for repaying us the original retail price of the gift. All free gifts /Sim Free handsets will be covered only by the manufacturers guarantee.
    Payment
    If you do not pay any sums due to us within the stated payment terms on your invoice, we reserve the right to charge interest and administration fees and recover all items provided under the contract. We reserve the right to waive these charges where there is a valid reason for non-payment.
    Prices
    Unless indicated otherwise, all prices stated exclude VAT and delivery.
    Our Responsibility to You – Please Note
    • We will perform the contract with reasonable skill and care
    • We shall not be liable for airtime charges during any period
    • In no circumstances shall we be liable for any loss or damage arising out of or relating to the services that we provide which is for any loss of profits, loss of sales, loss or turnover, loss of bargain, loss of opportunity, damage to goodwill or reputation, loss of use of any apparatus, software or data loss or time on the part of management or the staff or any indirect or consequential loss or damage however so arising, for death or personal injury, in the event that you use an item for a commercial purpose then we shall not be liable to you for any loss of income, business or profits or any other economic loss arising out of your use or inability to use any item at any time, however this loss may be caused and whether or not it is a result of your own negligence.
    Your Obligations
    You will only use hardware supplied by us on the mobile phone tariff we have supplied, and not only will you not sell on or distribute this kit to a 3rd party, but you will also not use a 3rd parties kit on the mobile phone tariff we have supplied.
    You will keep your account up to date with the Provider and ensure that you comply with the minimum usage terms set out by the Provider (normally this amounts to an average of 10 minutes usage per handset, per month)

    You will, unless agreed with us, fulfil the full term of your contract until migration period with the Network and ourselves, and you will not enter into any agreement with another Dealer, or any third party, without written consent from us. In the event of you entering into agreement with another dealer without our prior agreement and before expiry of the term of contract until migration period  with ourselves you agree to repay us in relation to any subsidy cashback or any other financial incentive provided or incurred by us for your benefit howsoever incurred. You further agree to pay any such expenses within 14 days of receipt by you of an itemised invoice in relation to such expenses.
    Your Statutory Rights
    Your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions are personal to you and may not be assigned by you to anyone else. We may transfer our rights and/or obligations under these terms and conditions or any part thereof.
    IMPORTANT – 7-day peace of mind guarantee.
    You have 7 days from the date of delivery of the Mobile Phone Equipment to cancel your contract. To cancel your contract you must notify us by telephone on XXXXX TBC and confirm the cancellation in writing. You must then return the Mobile Phone Equipment and any accessories and free promotional items given away with the Mobile Phone Equipment within the 7-day period. The cost of returning these goods is your responsibility; we suggest you use registered post or a courier with insurance. Upon safe return of the Mobile Phone Equipment in its original condition within the 7-day period, the airtime agreement will be cancelled. You will be charged for any calls you have made during the time that you have had the Mobile Phone Equipment; along with line rental pro rata for any period you have made use of the Mobile Phone Equipment. If any item is not returned to its original condition we reserve the right to charge you for the reduction in the resale value caused directly as a result of not being returned in its original condition, (up to a maximum charge of the original retail list price for the item excluding all offers, discounts and promotions) at the date of your original order). Upon safe return of the Mobile Phone Equipment in its original condition or the relevant item we will remit you a full refund. If you do not cancel this contract within the 7-day period you will be subject to the minimum term airtime contract agreed with the Network. Nothing in these terms and conditions shall affect your statutory rights relating to faulty goods or services provided. If you have any doubts about your statutory rights please contact your local Trading Standards Department or Citizen’s Advice Bureau. If during this 7 day period you wish to exchange or replace a mobile handset for any reason other than faulty equipment as verified by the network we reserve the right to charge a £30.00 administration fee per handset replaced at your request.
    Tariff Changes
    All new connections may be subject to additional charges should the customer change to a lower monthly tariff within the first 12 months of a new airtime contract. The additional costs will be based on the difference between the original handset price charges and the cost of the handset with lower monthly tariff. Please ensure that you choose the correct tariff to avoid these penalties that are imposed on us by the Network Providers. Changing to a higher monthly tariff, however, will incur no additional charges. Additional charges will always be avoided where possible. Please feel free to call us if you require more information.
    Mobile Number Porting
    We can offer to assist in porting your existing mobile phone number if you are connecting to a different phone network and can provide us with an active PAC code from your existing network. You must, where possible, provide the PAC code within 7 working days from the date of contact, failure to do so will not result in any liability for us in terms of costs incurred. We cannot be held liable for any consequential loss resulting from a mobile number port failure. You must notify us of any problems within 3 days of your connection.
    Line Rental Subsidy / Termination or Other Reimbursement
    You must provide us with a VAT invoice for any line rental subsidy/termination costs that have been agreed, within 30 days of connection. Full or monthly payment (s)will be made/begin (subject to authorisation) at the end of the month following 120 days from the connection date and all payments will be made directly onto your Orange account. We reserve the right to withhold payment if; the phone is disconnected; the tariff is changed; the number of handsets on the account have been changed; you have failed to pay the Network or us; the phone(s) is/are showing no or minimal usage, we have not been paid the commission. If the minimum term of the contract until migration period with ourselves has not been satisfied we retain the right to clawback any line rental subsidy or termination costs that have been paid, and also the original retail cost of any hardware supplied by us. Furthermore should you fail to adhere to any other of the terms laid out in this document, any payment due may be withheld pending further investigation .
    Disclaimer for Tariff Analysis
    These results are based on the records you supply of your historical call profile and are intended as an indication only, assuming your profile remains consistent. The analysis may not represent all ASPECTS of Euro call and international roaming, calls that could affect the result and therefore the recommended call plan. Whilst Jelly Tree  have used reasonable actions to ensure the accuracy and consistency of the results, you should not rely on it and we accept no liability for errors or omissions or any direct, indirect or consequential damages arriving as a result of the use of this tariff.
    No Waiver
    Failure or delay in exercising any right under this Agreement on our part shall not operate as a waiver thereof.
    Severability
    If at any time any provision of this Agreement shall be found to be illegal, unenforceable, or invalid in whole or in part the remaining portions of such provisions and other provisions of this Agreement shall continue to be binding and in full force and effect.
    Force Majeure
    This Agreement shall terminate without liability on either party in the event that either party is prevented from complying with their obligations hereunder due to circumstances beyond their reasonable control.
    Entire Agreement
    You agree that these Terms and Conditions together with any documents referred to in it constitutes the entire agreement and understanding between us and supersedes any previous agreement between us and in entering in to this Agreement you have not relied upon any pre-contractual statement and you further agree that the only remedy available to you for breach of this Agreement shall be from Breach of Contract under the terms of this Agreement and you shall have no right of action against any other party in respect of any pre-contractual statement.
    Nothing in this Agreement shall however operate to limit or exclude any liability for fraud.
    General Conditions
    Your rights and obligations under these terms and conditions are personal to you/your company and may not be assigned by you to any third party. We may transfer our rights and/or obligations under these Terms and Conditions or any part thereof. This Contract is governed by English Law.
    We require return of the signed duplicate of the Agreement within 21 days of your receipt of the same. Should you not return a signed copy within the timescale you agree that this is evidence we can accept of your agreement to the terms as set out in these Terms and Conditions.

    J who are you one of the monkey Warrilows, or the chimps that used to come from Telford every day to be given dodgy leads and complete dodgy deals ?  The blame lie's with the pathetic directors and lazy field sales guys who think Geko owed them something - they haven't done a hard days graft in their life as they were molly coddled and come to expect multi handset leads and back handers - deny i'm wrong !  The only one who bloody worked was the office admin manager and she had to clear up everyone elses shite

    You really shouldn't listen to gossip. Unfortunately, in every workplace there is always copious amounts of bitching and backstabbing. However, most people have the intelligence to learn the facts before taking it all as the gospel truth and blurting out a load of shite!
