Yes they now have my number and keep calling.  I have told them I am not interested but it does not seem to bother them they just call and call.  A threat of legal action does not have any affect

Keep getting calls even though I have asked them to stop calling, won't tell me who they are and when I ask they hang up.

This number appears several times a day on our caller display.  Sometimes it rings off after a ring or two other times it continues.  On occasions we have answered the calls it comes through as a silent call.  Please someone do something about these calls.

had nearly 10 calls in the past two days, waking my wife up who has just finished her night shift. this morning they rang at 11.01am and i told them if they called once more i would start legal proceedings. 3 minutes later the phone rang again, yes you guessed it it was money manager again, so i told them i was going to start proceedings to sue them.

2 calls a day for last 4 days. Babbling on about the government writing off my debts. I HAVEN'T GOT ANY! Keep telling them to put a note by my number'NO CALLS WANTED' Do these idiot Asians understand English? Really annoyed Sunday morning. Told him I would swear at the next person who phoned. Not had a 2nd call today YET.

Got one, not long ago and got hung up on.

I have received numerous calls from this (and many, many other numbers - too many to list) and i am really frustrated! My number is ex-directory, I am registered with TPS and I have repeatedly complained to OFCOM! Nothing works when trying to stop the b@st@rds from calling!

I'm going to use the method as used by others suffering in the same way and keep a whistle next to the phone. If that doesnt work then, as a last resort, I will travel to Mumbai and Delhi (as that is where the majority of the overseas calls originate) with sum firearms and shoot all those b@st@rds DEAD! I would gladly serve a prison sentence here to stop EVERYONE suffering!

Yup, I've had calls from this number for quite a while now . . .  and have experienced all of the above (or below, depending on where this is on the web page). I can’t seem to get them to stop so : I’ve assigned them a nice name on my caller display and just don’t answer it. Fingers crossed they fed up and move on to someone else . . . . but remember    IT COULD BE YOU !!    Complain people ! you know it makes sense.

Sorry, forgot to say . . . . OFCOM can’t do anything about this ‘cause it’s coming in from outside the UK  ( a call centre somewhere in India by the sounds of it) and therefore do not fall under UK legislation:-( !
But I have no idea how to stop them ????!!!

jUST HAD THESE SODS RINGING  SEVERAL TIMES TONIGHT,even asking for Mr Kamal mostly just silence though.Wish this call center was in range of my rifle sights.

since my last post we have had several more phone calls from these people. We are getting really p'd off...and reading the above doesnt seem like anything can be done.....grrrrrrrrrrrrrrr.

Asian guy rings informs me he is from Money Managment, I am out at work from 8am to 6pm daily you can guarantee they have rang no message left, I had a call last Saturday  and he infomed me he can clear my debts (yes what ever) told him i was not interested told him not to ring my number again i hung up. Today 18.08pm got another call Asian guy he confirmed my name as soon as he said where he was from i got annoyed and asked how may times do i have to tell them not to ring this number he said i don't know what the call was about i infomed him i do and remove my number and do not contact me again.
Well what happened to Data Protection and where are they getting our details from

Because they are calling from outside the UK. TPS cannot block them. Great hey.

Just had a call from this number. I didn't answer it and just done a 1471.

This Number keeps calling us to.  Ofcom suggest registering your number here http://www.mpsonline.org.uk/tps/ which after 28 days after you have registered makes it illegal for ANY company to ring you with unsolicited marketing or sales calls.  If they do you can report them and they can be prosecuted. The registration is totally FREE!!

It won't stop your bank or insurance company from checking up on you though, but if they're your bank or insurance company then I guess you chose them for a reason and many of us won't mind the occasional courtesy call, after all they do look after stuff for us.

Sorry, me again! (guy from last post) didnt realise there were nearly 20 pages of complaints about this number and that the TPS route has already been explored.  What i dont get is how does the company ring from India with what looks like a London UK phone number?  I realise London UK is 0207... or 0208... so i have done a little research, it seem that companies like this one http://www.numberstore.com/0203-numbers-order.asp are responsible for selling 0203 numbers, and advertising them as "London Area Codes" a bit of a lie if you ask me, and maybe something can be done at this point to stop Overseas investors from using UK numbers, and perhaps Ofcom should Police those ones to?  More than one way to skin a cat i say!

Spoke to Asian chap who said he was from the Government had all my details I have reported them to the police and the Trading Standard commission. I believe they are in India and do not come under our policing umbrella.

Was in the middle of painting my daughters room and the phone wentgot to the botto of the stairs and it stopped did the whole 1471 and it was this number went upstairs and low and behold it rang again same number no one there in the end after another 6 calls within 20 minutes i left the phone onthey eventually got the message and hung up and havent caled again - til tomorrow!
