3 or 4 calls from this number this week...... when i picked up line went dead so couldn't make a connection with me. Probably a good thing as I would NEVER give my details to a cold caller let alone any card or bank details. I will have fun with them if they actually do get through though..... I like to play games with these types if I have the time !!!! Lol :)

Called by this number on 28/3/14.  Went to answerphone, left no message.  I report it here, so that other users can be aware that this is a known number.

I started a job at the place in Wessex house in Bournemouth and left after 3 days of working there because the manager of the call centre, Sarah said that we basically mug people off over the phone for money,. It came to my attention that it wasn't a legit company. I am 19 years old and wanted a job bad at the time, but left easily. I got a a more decent job now labouring. I am willing to back you up. Sarah got some of her workers to write comments by her workers to defend them. Overwhelmingly they have lots of things to go against what they cold heartedly do also people as well as your good selves with my support . I am willing to  back you all up and form some kind of campaign so that they are abolished. I believe what they do is wrong, it is basically robbing elderly people

These scumbags have just tried to rip me off by claimin they where the Telephone Preference Service and could offer me a more enhanced service for a cost. Told them to F%$% Off

I received a call this morning from "Luke" of the "Telecom Protection Service" offering for 60p a month a service that would, he claimed, block all cold calls (including presumably from his own company). He gave his number as 0871 989 1414 and the company's website address as www.telecomprotectionservice.co.uk

Under investigation by Nominet.

These people are attempting to get money by deception. Report them to the ICO on the link provided. Hopefully the fine will discourage them

My elderly Mother had a call from these people on Tuesday & she gave them her bank details. She's already registered with the TPS so I don't know where they got her number from. She didn't tell me until yesterday evening & by then they had already taken the £79.99 out of her bank account. I will be complaining....

My neighbour received a call from this number on Tuesday afternoon.

She is coming up to 88 years old next week and has been receiving a few unsolicited calls in the past year, despite her being registered with the real TPS, and the ones that get through appear to be overseas and untouchable.

Unknown to me, by yesterday morning she had offered up her card detail to take out some 'call barring' process on sale by the person at the other end of the line calling from the above number, and had asked her to use a debit card claiming payment would go through 'quicker without an additional banking charge', or something like that. I do not as yet know if what they have taken is a one off fee, or has been set up to be debited each month according to how she responded to the sales patter.

I have asked her bank to cancel the card immediately and provide her with a statement of DDs set up on her account, just in case she has given away more than she has let on. There is no header under the Call type below for 'scammer preying on the elderly' but that is what this company is.

Received a silent message from this number.  When I said 'hello' there was a pause and a nasty little snigger before putting the phone down on me.  Purpose - ?

Answered a call from this number when it was just a male laughing down the phone before hanging up!

Called from this number at 6,45 p.m. They've called before so I already have it set up a a dodgy caller (special ring tone). By the time my ancient body had reached the phone, they'd hung up. Shall report it.

Had a call from this number today - very well spoken older lady on the phone looking for someone who does not live here - saying she was from a 'renewable energy' company but she then just went silent and hung up - very odd.

This is about the twelfth time in two days i have received a call from this number.  I leave the answer machine on with my message saying 'i can't come to the phone, and please note I do not accept calls from unknown or with held numbers.   If you wish to leave me a message, please do so after the tone'    It works, and they don't leave a message, but I still wish they would go away!

Allegedly a misleading Company with a misleading name.  They appear to be trying to get people to believe that TPS (Telephone Preference Service) is not a free service, which it is.  Steer clear unless you want to pay for an unproven call-barring service.

When I challenged them on this they rudely rang off, which is exactly what I suggest you do to them.  It a bit ironic that they are making nuisance calls offering to stop nuisance calls!

Receive many of these calls they are a pain I just hang up on them now
