I have received several calls from this number but there is never anybody on the other end, why? These calls are very annoying especially as I am registered with TPS.

think that should read TELECOM PROTECTION SERVICE - but absolutely brill to know that the lying cheating scumbags have finally had the door closed on them !!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Had a call today, some mention of solar - told her we were registered with (the proper) TPS. She claimed that since she was not selling so TPS did not apply, told her why I was registered - her reply..."so!" and then she hung up. 1471 gave this number so it looks as if it is now being used again

Silent Call

Just had a call from this number.   No message left.  Phoned back but an American-type voice said "The number you have dialled is not in service.  Please check the number and dial again.  Goodbye".  Says it all!!!   Checked the number on this site and found all these warnings.  This firm has been shown up on South Today recently - it is a scam.  Very plausible owner of the firm, even when challenged on TV.

Just had a call from this number. He said he was calling about a government scheme where people would be rewarded at the end of the year for using renewable energy. He didn't sound very enthusiastic, almost bored. There was no background noise either like you get in other call centres, suggesting he was in a room on his own rather than it being a team of people working together.

Received a call from this number claiming to be SE UK Ltd.  this was not a sales call, I was told, but on behalf of the Government initiative on fuel saving.  When I asked if the SE stood for Southern Energy they hung up.

has been calling frequently for weeks. I don't answer but would like to know who they are. Never leave a message. So annoying.

Many calls over a long period. I do not answer as know it is a nuisance call. Often rings off after a few rings.

Been ringing my landline all day long.  Have subscribed to every service I know to stop cold callers and I no longer answer the phone unless friends announce themselves on my answer machine.

How do the get away with it?

get several calls daily& have found a way to get by own back. Answer the call when you see the number, when they pick up blow a whistle very hard & very loud - it's very satisfying if nothing else. Other numbers have stopped calling. If it is an automated response leave the line open put the phone down & go and do something - they have to pay for the costs of a call - diddums......

Sick and tired of repeated calls from this number, despite having the almost useless TPS registered. Usually they call when I am out and do not leave any message. This week I am home and the daily calls continue, however when I pick up the line is dead. I live in hope I can speak to them and let them know EXACTLY what I think of this harassment!

persistent calls initial silence

Received call from the above number, with an Indian sounding lady stating that the call was from Microsoft about your computer".  I immediately put the phone down as the call was undoubtedly bogus

These people have called me several times during the afternoon but never speak. If you ring them back the number is out of service. How tedious this is !!!!!

This scam number is based in London, UK.

The company is dodgy, the director Giles Ward Best was also the director of Solar Energies UK, which I assume has shut up shop but was ran from the same office.  My company had carried out two scaffold installs for them in Cornwall and they haven't paid us, nor can I get hold of them.
