I had a call from a man with an Indian accent telling me that when I was on the internet they were receiving messages that my computer was very faulty and had lots of viruses on it and that they would repair  my computer. He said he was phoning from Online PC Genius. He asked me if I would follow his instruction and key them into my computer. He then proceeded telling me to go into my computer, then systems, then team viewer. He then wanted me to go into remote access. I was having difficulty following his instructions a) because the command of his english was so poor and b) I had not even switched my computer on. After 15 minutes he was getting more and more irate as he kept telling me he was getting an Information error and could not get into my computer (surprise, surprise!!) He said he would pass me onto his supervisor.
His supervisor give her name as Rachel Thompson, although spoke with an asian accent. Her English was very good and she was a lot brighter than the man. She asked me to log onto www.teamviwer.com as she would be able to get remote access. I made the excuse that my virus checker would not allow me to log onto the system or onto www.onlinepcgenius.com. She gave me her assurance that there was nothing wrong with their site and I should over-ride the virus checker.  
I knew that this was a load of lies. So I told her that I would take my computer into work and get our Security and IT Dept. to give her a call and sort it out. I asked for her telephone number, at first she was reluctant to give it, but when I asked how can we contact her without a phone number she gave me 02030269827.

i received a call from Online PC Genius. firstly i was suspicious about that call but they provide me there company details and direct number . i check that number the number was right . when i go a head there IT peoples helped me a lot . my computer was very slow  . they improve the speed and remove virus from my computer . i am very thankful to them . May God bless them

Also had a call from Online PC Genius. Also had difficulty understanding the person. It is an obvious scam because the person who called me talked absolute rubbish and nobody does anything for nothing. In addition, one must assume that Burton works with/for the company in some capacity. He/she cannot write English

Obvious cold calling scam, relying on you the user to be freaked by them saying your computer is sending them error messages and perhaps even using your name.

Complete scam these people are vermin.

Rule of thumb, indian accent put the phone down.

My laptop has apaenrtly got a couple of fatal viruses and an Asian gentleman very kindly offered to assist me in deleting them. I acted computer illerate and asked for his address and phone number so we could get back to him later assuring him we would not turn our laptop on until we were speaking with him. He was a senior technician based at 429 Kensington High Street. I guess id better go swap my MAC so he can help me out!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

A scam caller claiming a Kensington address claiming to be a Microsoft registered company. After telling me that my PC was doomed due to a Trojan Horse asked me to open Teamviewer which would have given access to my PC - this could only have been for malicious purposes.

just to say ive just had a similar phone call to say ive got a virus on my computer, im not confident enough to say yes or no, so i simply hang up, got the number to ring back, but thought id check this out first, obviously something suspicious, hwo do they know ive got a virus, but how did they get my phone number, very dodgy.

Had a call wid d same orginization earlier this noon. Some Alvin Grace called me & claimed to be from an independent IT company. Though he made a call with a wrong name & wife picked it and said wrong number but when I had word with him he convinced me with his VAST knowledge & that makes him a Microsoft Certified Engineer. I raised a bar on this authencity but he said that I can cut call at anytime & he also said that he mentioned that he is from an indepdent company earlier in call else he could had also called and lied to me saying that he is from Dell. He had right error reports, he knew I have a laptop & am using a dell. Then some old chap assisted me for rest part & after 15 minutes of call I am assured that am having peace of lifetime. They just charged me 100£ for 4 softwares + support + license key. Love them, Love me new computer as well. ^_^

They also seem to have gained access to my bank details and emptied my account :-(

They called me today. And chatted for an hour to convince me they were not a fraud. And I don't think they are fraud or scam but I worried they knows my bank details.

recieved the same, its not a scam but its a selling site, alvin called me & explained me the issue & I pretended to be newbie to computer. The reasoning he gave to me wasnot lame at all, cuz I am an intermidate computer guy. His technician charged me £100 to solve the issue which alvin showed me. I paid cuz I know dat I'd been payin the same to sum1 else too. After payment alvin called me thrice to ask that is my computer fast enough? & yeah, there was 70% change. Its not a scam but I don't think so that they are certified by microsoft. Its just a sales promo, bt i liked alvin's courtsey.

i recieved a call from same number, but no racheal, indian, alvin or saiinfoway. An very old aged guy calling ayron himself. I knew from beginin dat its not his real name as his accent was all [***] by, probably he was from africa or mexico. He was of help, just a very old guy claiming to be an engineer as if i was born yesterday, huh. I had been a calling company for 3 years so i knew this is a sales call thats y i agreed to him, but wen i approached my computer that old aged [***] was completely blank & transferred the line as he failed to address me by his cheap and outdated relation building one liners. Then sum real enginner talked to me. Then i had sum real help else if that old guy had been on call then i would had banged this head to my computer. They helped me & since noon m real happy, am online whole night, whehehehehe.. Online pc genious should not employee old aged [***] calling themselves techs.. & i believe few of comments above like of alexd or shaun or huggies are writren by dat old bustard. Like his all dese cummenta have [***] up english, bt in d end they r not scammers, its just a selling bpo.
