    Matt,

Your www.mypensionmoney.co.uk still lacks any kind of address or registration details etc.so still reeks of a typical pension backed loans scam operation

What is your Data Protection number?

    What is your full name?

What is your Company or Partnership (LLP) Number?

    Thank you,

    Chris Jones

Can you paste the email in here (minus your email address and name) but including theirs? Try to include the header (the bit with IP numbers) and we will do some digging for you.

Expat Financial Advisor in Spain Blacklisted in the UK
May 13, 2011 -- Regulators have warned investors to be wary of a British financial advisor operating from Spain, it can be revealed.

Warnings have been given on PFR Services (Planning for Retirement) and Cash in Your Pension – two of the firms linked to Terence Wright – on the Financial Services Authority (FSA) blacklist.

Wright – who also allegedly owns Spanish companies including Alhaurin Wealth Planning (AWP) – is using a call centre in Andalucia to hook investors into a variety of schemes.

The centre in Alhaurin el Grande is linked to a British phone number, answered by the team in Spain.

One woman, who recently worked at the office, told the Olive Press: "I became suspicious of the operation after watching a programme on television about similar schemes.

"It was remarkably similar to the job in Alhaurin and I felt uncomfortable and handed in my notice."

She continued: "I was interviewed by Terence Wright and I had to answer calls for both PFR and AWP and I had to ensure that I didn’t get the two mixed up.

"It was all a bit of a concern."

The Olive Press can reveal that Wright’s companies are soliciting customers to invest their pensions in various schemes including a Spanish vineyard and an Australian wheat company.

A spokesman for the FSA confirmed that investors should be very wary of such schemes.

Wright is not authorised to carry on regulated activities in the UK, which include advising on investments.

The FSA spokesman said: "We strongly recommend that anyone looking to seek financial advice consults the FSA website.

"Investors who deal with unregulated firms are not covered by UK compensation rules."

An expert told the Olive Press that the FSA cannot restrict advisors dealing in land investments.

"There have been examples where pensioners have unwittingly made inappropriate investments that properly regulated advisors would not have proposed," he explained. "These warnings however, do not prove any breach of UK law."

According to its website Alhaurin Wealth Planning specialises in land and property investments, while Cash In Your Pension’s website encourages people to invest their pension elsewhere.

It states clearly: ‘We are an offshore company and are therefore not subject to the same legislation as pension advisors in the UK’.

This week a woman, who gave her name as Emma confirmed the office was in Alhaurin and promised to call us back.

Eventually we spoke to another member of staff Ben James, who insisted that Wright no longer had links with the company.

He said: "I have not seen him for two-and-a-half years and he is not involved with PFR services."

We were unable to contact Wright, who also owns a real estate company Terence Wright Associates in Cartama.

Zane Leonard Hegarty does not seem to last at the same job very long... he was a director of a company called "Z.I.T.S." which had a registered address in Thornton Heath the Secretary of that company was his mother Patricia Hegarty who is now in her 70's but still apparently in the UK.  Zane also worked for about 3 months for an investment advisor / broker in Coleman Street, London before he got involved with Terence Wright in Spain.

I'm afraid you are still mistaking me for someone else.  And the website for something it is not involved in.

What is going on here is no different to an individual having a bad experience with a Ford motor car and then targetting Vauxhall, BMW, Renault and Toyota as the culprits in some kind of mass conspiracy.

Mypensionmoney.co.uk is not a scam website, it does not offer SIPPs/loan backs and there is no office or representative in Spain.  I cant speak for the other sites you talk about, as once again, they are nothing to do with MPM.

Notice that none of the other sites listed have been defended?

The comments may be true about those.  And if so, that's why no one has responded.

So where are you based then Matt?? Why are you so coy about your business? For someone who preofesses to run a legit operation, you are incredibly quiet about contact details!!!!!

    Q. I would like my accountant, lawyer or financial advisor to attend the meeting with me. Can
    they?

    A. Yes, and without charge or commitment in anyway. In fact we would prefer it if they can join us as many of our planning specialists receive much of their business through accountants, financial advisors and solicitors.

    Matt:
Where do these meetings take place?
In a pub in the East End? A beach bar in Spain? Elsewhere? The address?
Can I bring the Press, SFO and FSA along?

Just a though but any company based in the UK and operating legitimately would have an address for their registered office on their website end of cut the crap guys. Please dont ever invest with anyone who does not display these basic details, directors of Limited Companies have to provide by law information about themselves so that anyone can serve legal papers on them should the need arise. If they are not able to do this guess what they're a scam in which case it matters not whether they are in Spain, Hong Kong, or the USA.

    Seeker replies to Matt
    Hi Matt,
A family member of mine has contacted your company giving over pension details. My suspicions were immediately roused so i decided to look into this to satisfy myself that this was indeed legit. My investigations have done exactly the opposite and after speaking with the FSA I have been advised that any business carried out with you would leave any individual without protection from your advice and actions.
I see throughout this blog that you are carefully sidestepping the real issues of company and director identity. All this could be resolved and your name cleared (as you are intent on seeking) if you give these general details.

    To: Pension Selling review searchers;
If someone comes across this blog looking for information on cashing in your pension I urge you to contact the Pensions Advisory Service on 0845 601 2923 who will advise you on the possibility of carrying this out.
This is of course very unlikely as the goverment have put protections in place on your pensions for a reason. Any company claiming that they can gain access to your pension through 'loop holes' should be looked into carefully and reported to the FSA for investigation. Everyone works hard for their money why should unautorised and unregistered companies be given access to our funds?

I have released my pension and this was quite useful at the time.  All I know is some are better than others - the QROPS stuff isnt worth touching but its easy for people without money problems to say no dont do it - better than running up debt or borrowing more IMO!
