Just received call from this lot with gentleman saying he was calling from the "Do not call register". I hung up as there is no such thing in the UK.

I had a call today, telling me about the high volume of unwanted calls I was getting. I asked how did they know? The man replied "we know that there are a large number of calls in your area that are unwanted so.." I cut in that's not actually what I asked you, I want to know how you know that my specific number is pestered in this way? He said "I have just told you madam..." No I replied you've been evasive in your answer and I'm talking specific s here. He said "I'm not going to repeat myself madam..." And attempted to carry on.  I then replied with the dial tone.....job done.  How do these people get away with this in this day and age I've had several calls like this now and I'm sick of them to be honest.

I had a call from an Asian sounding guy with the unlikely English name of Trevor, he told me that I receive a lot of nuisance calls, he was right, we used to receive as many as 10 calls per day, I told him that he was one of them, he swore and hung up. I added his number 0203817446 to my call blocker list. It's surprising just how quiet it is since I installed the Call Saint, money well spent.

Charles called today and told me he was calling about unwanted calls. I thanked him for calling me and told him I knew what to do. I hung up on him and blocked the number.

Thank you for comments here - I thought it was not genuine and the comments here show my suspicions were correct.

Had a call from this number from an Indian sounding person with an English name. Said he was calling about the maintenance charge of £9 plus that we are paying to Sky TV. I said that I was not aware of this but if there was a problem I will call Sky myself. Usual bunch of scammer tossers.

Got a call from this number today Thursday 25 th June but no one answered so when I rang call back it says number not recognised really annoyed about these types of unwanted calls.

I was out when the call came.  They left a recorded message about PP!

I wish it had been a real person so I could tell them what I think of them!!!

Indian lady always asks for a Mrs Crane.

I have told her numerous times that I'm NOT Mrs Crane.

Received call today from this number, identifying themselves as 'Do Not Call' register. Said they understood that I was tsill getting unwanted sales and marketing calls and that they were offering to move people in my area to a new better register that would cut the number of unwanted calls. I asked him to repeat the name of the organisation which he did and when I said I'd never heard of it but was on theTelephone Preference Service (TPS) and was not happy about talking to him he hung up.

Had a call from this number, answered Hello, no reply, Click!  Tried to call the number back and got through to - Lambeth Housing Helpline!  As I am in South Wales, couldn't understand why they were calling me and, stranger than ever, that is NOT their number. Following day another call from this number, answered Hello and a guy spoke to me and said in a foreign voice he was blah blah from blah blah, asked him to repeat and again couldn't understand him  Gist of it was he was calling regarding my Sky equipment. Explained politely that I DO NOT use Sky, my number is EX- Directory and TPS registered and he should NOT be calling me. He was very polite but worrying to think he knew my name and phone number, so probably has my address as well. Not very pleased to say the least!  I have since tried calling that number but it has not been recognised.

Also called asking if I had lots of nuisance calls. When I pushed back,  unsure who they were he Hu g up,  thus confirming that they WERE a nuisance

It's obviously my day for unwanted phone calls - so far 4 from different numbers, the latest this one.  All complained about on here, so glad I didn't answer.  None of them left a message, either.

Called at 3.15pm today

Silent so I hung up.....Glad I didn't waste my time and stay on the line to listen to the rubbish.

Call me twice and I block there number on my home phone and mobile

My husband answered a call from this number and they said they understood we were having lots of unsolicited calls. My husband said yes and that this was an unsolicited call because he had not requested a call back.
The Asian speaking man on the other end of the phone then said to my husband "well if you believe this is an unsolicited call, you can stick the phone up your [***]" and then put the phone down

Asian man called frank calling from sky asking about insurance for the sky boxes, I don't even have sky and he even got my house number wrong when I told him this he just hung up.

Have had three calls from this number today and each time when I answer they hang up. What is that all about???
