Called today lady with asian accent called "Megan" from Team 4 Appliances. Phoning to tell me that my washing machine insurance was going down from £9 to £6 and I would get a letter confirming this. Ok fine I say. then she says need to confirm details, address, type of machine, how long we had it and then The 16 digit number of your credit card!! Bye bye lady. Clever most people have a machine and an insurance, but wouldn't recall with who and how much. She also gave a ring back number 0333 370 4467 and an extn 306 to make things more plausible. Beware!!

Got a call today at 14.17 Caller said he was phoning about my home appliances. he said he was aware that I was paying £9 paying £9 per month for maintenance of my home appliances and asked if that was correct. I said It was totally incorrect and he hung up.
Two things are interesting - the posts I have read for this number were all about call blocking and he made no attempt to specify which home appliances he was referring to

Called today asking if I was still paying £9 a month for my washing machine maintenance . Knew my name and address (in the phone book!). Very Indian accent and lot of background noise so probably a call centre. Told him he was misinformed and hung up. Guess I will hear from them again!

Was called by a foreign accented man who said he could help me put a stop to unwanted phone calls.
I replied that as he too was an unwanted phone call, then he was defeating the issue. Had he not called
me, I should not have had any unwanted calls today.
Whoever, they are they have phoned five times since January 1st 2016.

This is a fake number, 1 digit too short. Called us today, sounded like a noisy call centre in India, but they hung up as soon as we asked who was calling.

Indian man called claiming we were paying £9 a month for the maintenance of our washing machine.  Had our name and address.

Just had a call from 'Sean' with a very heavy Indian accent. He firstly got my surname wrong, then repeated my telephone number incorrectly. Even after I repeatedly told him he must have the wrong person and number, he still persisted in saying I am paying £9.00 per month for my washing machine maintenance and repair (I'm not). He was incredibly pushy, even though I reiterated he had got my name and telephone number wrong and insisted I'm not paying for a monthly w/machine maintenance (didn't tell him my real name, by the way). I started to play games with him (as I had a bit of time) and asked him if he knows so much about me, what washing machine I have. He replied with "How am I supposed to know that"?
"Well" I replied- "you seem to know a great deal about me that I don't even know about myself. You are arguing about my name and my telephone number, and the fact that I am apparently paying maintenance on my washing machine, which I 'm not, so you must surely know what washing machine I have."
He hung up when I quizzed him about his own name!!

received a call from this number claiming to be from team for appliance and was going to reduce the premiums on my washing machine insurance, when I told him the amount he quoted I was paying was incorrect he asked me for the correct amount. I told him that it was none of his business as I had not rung him so he told me to f**k off.... charming fellow !!

Usual scammers from the subcontinent. Who cares what specifically it was this time; something to do with blocked calls I think underneath the poor line and heavy accent.

Caller (sounding like from an Aian call centre) said he was there to help reduce my Skye TV monthly payments. Had my name and address correctly. Said they would put me on a £7/month tarriff. After letting him rabbit on a bit I told him that I don't have Skye and that this was a scam and he should be ashamed of himself. I then hung up.

The caller only rang a few rings. By the time I answered, they had gone. Undoubtedly a cold call, because they didn't leave a message.

Got a call this morning waking me from my sleep. The asian 'gent' told me that he could reduce my insurance on my Sky equipment to £7.00 a month and asked me to confirm my name, postcode and address. Unfortunately I did. Then he wanted to know what colour my Sky box was and by this time i had woken up and asked who he was. He passed me to his 'manager' who at first politly introduced himself and then asked me how he could help. I again asked who they were and he got a bit irritated and asked me why i was wasting his operators time if I didn't know who I was calling. I said that he had called me and he rung off! I then tried to ring him back but I could get no ring tone. I think this call is almost certainly a scam and should be treated with care! I also wonder how he got my details - but he didn't know the colour of my Sky box!

Several calls from this number, all blocked from our wonderful new phone BT 8500.We would highly recommend this phone. We have no affiliation with BT, in fact have recently move from them to a different provider. Just get one of these phones and save yourself the worry or treat an elderly relation who these peole seem to prey on.

Phone rang and when I picked it up there was on one there!

Lady tried to get me to give her my card number to register me for cheap sky insurance

Asian lady said she understood from her records we had a maintainence contract with Sky. Asked who the company she was ringing  from then we would talk to her. Phone went dead.

Had a call saying they were calling from Sky and they have looked at my account and I am in the wrong package. They said I could now get it for £7 month.

Man with Asian accent called about the Sky TV at my address. Only one problem, I don't have Sky TV. When I told him that, he hung up.
