At Least 2 calls a day No answer at other end

The number calls my home number which has been listed on the UK TPS service, and after 5 seconds of silence just hangs up.

I would love to tell them "where to get off" !

Thank-you unknown caller, you have just spoilt my day once again.

Guy with Asian accent asked if I was Richard <surname>, he then asked me to confirm my address which he also had.  I asked him who he was and who he represented.  He told me (I can't remember - but it is obviously not true!).  Anyway he then said "Our records show that you are paying more than 9 pounds a month on your appliance insurance for your television and washing machine".
I told him "That's a load of b*ll*cks and you know it.  Goodbye".  and put the phone down.  I do not have any insurance on any of those products.
Start of a scam call, I reckon.  Unfortunately that does not show up on your "Call Type" list so I have left t ais unknown,

Call from this number. Guy called Sam from a company called Team 4 appliances. Stated he could offer a cheaper insurance policy for our washing machine. He knew name,  address and how much we currently pay. Started asking us to cancel our direct debit. Did some quick checks on Google and challenged him about his company. He then said ok and ended the call.

Had a call today from someone claiming I have an insurance contract with his company covering my washing machine and TV. Said they have a new deal that would save me money. Asked for my credit card number, claiming this was not 'sensitive information'. Company is Team4appliances. Address given Timber Yard Cottage, Moor Crichel, Dorset, BH21 5DT. Phone number to call back given as 0333 370 4467. Extension 303, name Shan (sounded like, don't know spelling).
This address seems to exist. 1471 gave caller's number as 0203 817446.

We keeping getting the same number ringing us daily when I answer the phone nobody answers & they put the phone down

They say that they will reduce your washing machine insurance from £9 to £6, then ask for your bank details, obvious scam.

Just had a guy callings from this number, asked to speak to me by name - how do they get ur name by the way??? Told them that no person by that name lives here - promptly hung up

Looks like this number is starting up again, have checked other "who calls me sites" and it looks as if it's been quiet since autumn 15 but one or two are coming through from end Jan 16. One of these was asking for my mother and any shares she may have. Sadly she died last year and  has never had any shares nor has my elderly father who was very troubled by this call.

Answered the call... empty line. How rude.

My call from this number said they were Team Four Insurance and were taking over the insurance of my washing machine directly from my homecare contract I have in place.  Gave me an 0333 number to call, very persistent but I said I would check with my current insurer that they were transferring my contract to them which she wasn't happy with, so I hung up in the end

Received a call saying they had me on record of paying £9 a month for insurance on a washing machine and would I like to pay less. Told her I don't pay insurance and she put the phone down on me. They usually phone and say they are from sky or would I like to block nuisance calls. Scam

Trying to scam money out of us by pretending to be kitchen appliance insurance company. Enjoyed my conversation with him as I claimed I lived of cold water and therefore had nothing to insure.

Asian female offering me a better deal on insurance for my washing machine! Wouldn't give company name or number to call back. Told her to go away and not call again. We are registered with TPS but this doesn't seem to help in stopping calls like this.

Call from woman with accent didn't catch the name from' Energy saving centre' asking if I was paying  £9 per month for my washing machine. Very obviously a scam so I asked her what make was my machine and she got irritated with me and said she didn't have that information and repeated the question about the £9 so as she was wasting my time I continued to waste hers so I asked her if she didn’t even know what make my machine was how would she know anything about it and did she just stick a pin in the phone book to find a number of someone to scam not surprisingly she hung up !!  I am registered with the CPS but still get these annoying calls

Said I'd get my washing machine monthly maintenance charge reduced from £9 to £6. Of course I don't have a monthly WM maintenance contract, so obvious scam, especially when I told him the details were wrong and he said the details came from the "British Trading Standards" company. Told him I didn't believe a word of it.

Phoned today and said they were phoning me about an insurance I hold with "team4alliance", concerning my household appliances, saying that they were going to reduce my payment from £9 to £5 a month.. When questioned, they said I had had this insurance for five months, but when I queried that (in some surprise) they rang off. Presumably they were going to go on and ask for my bank details?

Con said it was team appliance, and I'm paying too much for washing machine insurance,

Phone rang but although I could hear office noises in the background no-one spoke.
My experience is that I will now get a follow-up call some time soon.
A referee's whistle blown into the handset really hurts the recipient.

Had a call supposedly to do with monthly maintenance  of 9 pounds on my washing machine.I told her she had been misinformed.
