Sales call on loans. Pointed out we are on TPS and do not want these calls and she replied tps doesn't apply to them, and rang off !!

Just hang up new scam. No doubt the echo test records everything you say in the hope that you think its part of an identification test. Hang up on them, any number that you cannot cal back is never going to be a good thing. They hav been calling me for two months now!

Best thing to do is reprt it to the police. if enough people do this the number eventually gets reported and the investigated.

just had another call from this bloody number, called it back to find out its some sort of echo test.. wtf? to be honest im getting rather sick of these calls.. surely therse a way of stopping them. im going to go search a few sites to see what i (we) can do about this. ill repost if i find anything

Had loads of calls from this number.  I didn't answer but phoned back and got echo test.  I'd love there to be an earsplitting, high pitched, dangerously high decibel sound that could replace the ringtone for numbers like this!  Now there's a thought.........

yet another bogus call from 0207 060 3887, rang them back from a missed call on my mobile to have an automated message telling me that everything would be repeated back to me in order tp test the ECHOTASK machinery I was using. I simply hung up, checked ECHOTASK on the web but nothing makes sense.

Tried ringing back and got a message about echo test

they will be using autodial software so an agent is not always available when a call contects, hence the multiple attempts.

This number keeps calling me and also when calling back asks me to repeat everything

Just a thought.... Did anyone else make a call to their network provider today?

mmm got a call tonight..answered cos I was expecting a call from a company but couldnt remember their number...got a silence then someone answered...they knew my name but sounded chinese...sounded like a call centre....so hung up.Got the call I was expecting about 10 mins later....How did they get my name tho'...they havent rung back

I got a call this evening, I immediately insisted they remove me from any contact lists they had a-d that I never want to receive another call from their company, the agent tried to talk over me so i told him to shut up and repeated that I wanted no further contact. He rang back immediately and was extremely rude, demanded to know why I had asked him to shut up, I told him again to remove me from any contact and he said "I'm going to ring you everyday, I'm going to haunt you"

Have had 4 calls from this woman who when I asked who she was told me not to be so rude!  I put phone down and she rang 4 more times so turned phone off.

They were attempting to harvest details of loans, mortgages, etc to sell on to lawyers for PPI misselling. Was a woman with a South African accent. I strung her along for 10 mins with false information and just when she thought she had me I told her to f**k off and stop bothering me. Great fun.

Foreign caller asking after me to update their database.  Told her where to go..... nicely.
