I have used the 1477 service (report as a malicious call) and so far any I have reported have not called back.
If you call 1477 right after hanging up from a call like this,you get a message 'the last incoming call has been registered as a malicious call,thank you'
Might be worth a try.I have just done it for this number,I await with baited breath!!

Call received from South African call centre- when I asked what PPI policy they were referring too the caller swore and hung up- Do not speak to First Call- they are well known in ZA as an extremely disreputable group of fraudsters/phisihing scammers.

Idiots called at 20:43 tonight regarding "Refund" from Bank or Loan!
Can't believe that we can't stop them.

Just had another call from this number, answered it this time, said he was from FIRST CALL GROUP  saying something about PFI, could not understand he much, so told him to delete my mobile number from is records

Got a call from this number today ,02070603887  said hi ,all i could hear was quite a few voices but nothing coherent,i hung up ,checked my line and could still hear them,it took a while trying to get my line back

Had a call from someone claiming to be from First Call Group.  Didn't believe a thing.

Had 2 calls from this no today re PPI which I dont have. Should never respond to any requests for personal details from this type of call - they are fishing for your ID..??

this number is the dm club??, they have a web site dmclub.net and have offices in london, also they have a phone number, 0207060 2000

called dm club claim that somebody else is piggy backing message on there phone lines

called today said they were first direct , of course i hung up took a few minutes  to get off my line though

Same as everyone else here I suppose. Some cold caller sounded like they wanted to cash in on some compensation scheme. First Call Group.
Lady sounded Indian but I don't know. This is the second call I've had recently. The first was about some other scheme I have no interest in.

Where the hell do these people get your name and number from? Isn't this type of thing supposed to be illegal? I don't know. Royal Mail delivers junk mail these days. Same thing different medium. Bahhhhh.

continually finding this number on missed calls. even when i answer no one speaks. sounds like some sort of automated thing. it is driving me mad. had already done tps block but this does not stop it

Someone phoned from this number and left a message on the answer phone that was just a repeated "Hello?, Hello? Hello" before they hung up. I think they are a PPI miss-selling claims company that cold called me on my mobile claiming I was owed £2450 by a credit card company for miss-sold insurance - turns out this is just a general figure, not me personally. They charge 25% of any money recovered from money recovered from credit card companies. I've found other companies that will chase up the claims much cheaper.

loads of background noise, after about 20seconds finally someone spoke, asked to speak to "Mr Tanner" (never heard of them), said they had the wrong number, they said "Are you not Mr Tanner" To which I replied no and they hung up

It's a hard sell concerning PPI. I kept the guy on the line for ages without actually divulging any information. Someone will call me back tomorrow. I'm retired, so have the time to get these people to waste their money on calls.
They say they're regulated by the Ministry of Justice. I've e-mailed them to see if this is true.

keep getting calls from ppi salesmen

Rang this number back (0207 060 3887) and it comes up as an unused number and available to buy?   I never answer this number when it rings, had about 5 calls now.
