Mr. Grovit hired a new financial controller who fabricated P&L figures and this resulted in closing down of elephant and castle, tottenham, peckham and bricklane branch along with goldhawk road.

The company itself is on the brink of crashing down, since they are not doing any more pledges for a week and only pushing the staff to perform gold-buy transactions.

As a result of strict measures, a lot of employees, numbering around 15+ have lost their jobs on short notice.

I went in for a interview for a IT position posted on reed, the blond interviewer didn't have a clue about Information Technology and she had the cheek to offer 15k for the amount of work which is required.! This is a absolute insult to experienced IT technicians. Only the deseparates would accept this insult and would eventually move on to a better paid job

The amount of IT work that needs to be isnt that much except that when the internet or something stops working you have to be ready to help no matter what time of day or night it is even when your suppose to be off you have to pick up your phone or your getting sacked. 15k this is a joke i tell you they are taking the mick out of your career. They dont care about anyone except how to rip off their staffs too not only the customers.

our monthly salary is paid at the end of the month BY f****ng cheques at end of last working day of the month and you will receieve a stupid email telling everyone you can only pick up the cheque at 5.30 !!  BANKS CLOSES at that time. !! Cheques takes 3-5 working days to clear !!!!!!!!!

Do not accept any interview or job offer from these complete rip-off merchants. You will not be in a job long, they will screw you over left right and centre. The interviewer lies to you in the interview and so does everyone else until you accept employment, and then the truth comes out. If you have a job already, keep it and look for something else but DO NOT go to this company. They don't even pay you properly! They don't even have a company bank account ffs !! And definitely do not give then any of your own ideas or thoughts as they will use them and turf you out at the same time.

The Hr people are thicked skinned useless idiots who cant get jobs elsewhere which is why they are stuck in this office from hell, they don't know what they doing and offers false information on the job and suggest that you be employed on a contractual basis so they can sack you and cannot be sued for unfair dismissal, there are no career progression, the company bullies their own staff to use their debit cards for purchases which makes sense  the company does not have a bank account, and they are constantly being chased for payments by bailiffs and builders.

I went from a cashier to deputy store manager within 3 months with a mere and embarrassing pay rise, colleagues and some management are really horrible your like the worst enemy, highly unnecessarily pressured work atmosphere, staff are treated like [***], very poor working environment.

Arguing customers due to charging 13.9% commission with a no refund policy, get paid by cheque so the company can earn interest on your wages and depending on your bank can take a week to clear, always short of currency in the business as the owner never reinvests back into the company, don't use a secure courier like g4s or lumia and make you take up to 40k in cash to head office and swap it for currency what you need, can be scary walking round London or oxford with that sort of cash in your bag and finally if your till is more than £5 short at the end of your shift the amount will be deducted example your till is £50 short you will lose £50 out of your wage when your paid
Start paying people by direct debit, no where accepts cheques anymore so why still pay people like this, start using secure couriers to deliver currency and stop using your staff, think about lowering your commission it's to high.

very high staff turnover in the head office, and the owner of the business is the biggest crook and [***] in the business.

a ideal place if you are looking for crap pay and you are a thick skinned person. The worst company to work for as a cashier, run down retail business, old and dirty, a serious lapse in health and safety, and CCTVs are not working.
