As long you haven't lost your money you are a lucky person. They probably try to contact you again because they are desperate to fool people and to extort their money. You can block their numbers and don't be ashamed o tell them what you think about them. No mercy!!!

Hiya guys I've had my photo taken in January not stateing the date at because they can't read all on this and have our personal details on paper. I went down to London for a test shoot in the last week I had some really nice photos taken. But then went down stairs to wait to see how I got on with my parents and the man took use in to the dark room. And ask me what I Do and things about my life and if I was interested and he said I pasted my test shoot. This was all to good to be ture. Alarm bells started to ring.
He told use about the packages they offered us and my parents was debating about it so in my head I knew there was something wrong but then we was just about to pay the money though a bank transfer and we type in his deatials and it pop up with there credit card details on my phone just as I was about to pay that there card was on the forudst list. And said that always pop up don't worry so then I said to my parents let go get some cash and he said leave a bag so I knew your comeing back I said no and walk out 5 mins later we walk back in and took alk the paper we wrote on the photos of me that was it. What he dose not realise is I recorded every second that I was in that place and I will to take this matter to the top to get these froundsts locked up once and for all..

    SCAMMERS
I had a call from Virginia at the Model Search/Modelling platform firstly before Christmas. They said they were extremely impressed with my look and are eager to get me in, a £50 deposit had to have been paid though. Straight away, i refused and put the phone down. About a month later, she rings back again saying the director was extremely impressed with my photo and wants me to come to the studio urgently, as Virginia knew i wasnt stupid enough to just give out £50 to a stranger and they may be a chance i wouldnt get my £50 back if something came up or i was late etc. She said the director wants me in so bad he is willing to make the deposit only £1, Virginia said that this is such an opportunity i cant miss and if i can't make it, i only lose a pound! With that mentality I gave bank details, but to a card that only had £1 in it anyway and one never use so i thought i was safe. Just after giving my bank details, she passed me over to the 'director' who told me i had to pay £150 if i don't turn up. I was nervous as he stated he was the head owner of the company so he knew i wouldnt argue back with him, this worried me but i knew that i was definitely going to turn up and my mum had agreed so i didnt think anything could possibly go wrong. (It was also dodgy as everyone i spoke to and every email had different information about how many outfits to bring?!) Anyway my mum then called me up two days before telling me she would not come with me as she has read reviews online and had realised it was a total scam. As i had already tried doing research on the company, but couldn't find anything (due to them always changing their names and them being so generic), i quickly didn't believe her and viewed it as she just wasnt being supportive. It did seem all a bit dodgy but i thought they only made their money by models purchasing photos and as Virginia clearly stated, i am under no obligation to purchase anything and the people telling me its a scam are just jealous. I looked into it more and decided it did look very dodgy and there is no point risking it. I cancelled my card and sent an email to them on friday, it is now tuesday and im surprised virginia hasnt tried ringing me 100 more times trying to con me out my money some more! She was completely patronising and worded certain things in a way that it sounded legit, although she was literally terrible at sticking to one story... not a great business women quality to have if you cant even remember your simple easy script! This company - if you can even call it that are pathetic and completely embarrassing, i dont know how they can wake up everyday and live lie knowing they're scamming young children and teenagers out of thousands of pounds.

Below i have copy and pasted a post i found from a ex worker from that company (with a changed name):

I worked at Neon Models and I left because it did not seem right to make people believe that the portfolio was virtually a passport to getting into modelling.

Occasionally, people would call and say they wanted a portfolio and that was fine because that was what they would get, along with a list of agency contacts.  Usually though, people would send their pictures in after doing a search for modelling agencies.  They would be thrilled when we called them back.  We would congratulate them on beating the "competition".  In fact, we were each given about 15 - 20 photos that had been sent from the evening before.  We called all of them the next morning, in the first hour and a half, before they had time to do a bit more research.

At this stage, people would be told that they were invited to an assessment in London, to see if they had what it takes.  They could even be told, wrongly,  that talent scouts from the top agencies regularly drop in to see who is out there.  It was all about getting someone in for a photoshoot and buying a portfolio,  If someone aged 19 or 20 wanted to come on their own, they couldn't.  We told them it was for their own peace of mind and good industry practice.  It was really about making sure someone older would be there who could afford the price.

Staff at Neon were under pressure to make around three bookings a day or else. The turnover was high.

Many of you would have been told that you have be ready  to buy the photos on the day because for data protection purposes they would be erased after that.    This was all about making sure you came with deep pockets.  After you had paid the deposit,  you would get a call back from someone supposedly from the studio.  It was actually a senior sales person from Neon Models calling you to check that you were going to turn up.

When you have had your photoshoot at Krypton Studios, an "assessor" would be at there to tell you about the industry and of course, to try and sell you a portfolio costing hundreds of pounds.

The other ex-booker is correct.  We would be telling you it is a lot of hard work and that you need to be a certain height to do catwalk etc. so that you think we know our stuff.  You will be told that realistically, you should opt for magazine modelling and that only a few get into to top end.
