I can only say what I have experienced in the past, NOT these guys, so on reflection maybe I as wrong to give them the benefit. I have come across other companies who do try and find you work, but it is down to the model, so to speak, to be good enough and correct for the role.
I'm now doing some digging and calling in a few favors to see if these guys are real or not, if not I will happerly post all information found......

These companies are modelling platforms only . For the newbies. You come down to thier studios , get your hair and make up done in 3 to 4 different looks , have photo shoots taken in 4 to 5 different outfits, inside the studios and also on different locations , then if you want to get the chance to purchase the photos..if you want that is... I'm sure there are 100's on people who work the system and go to these days out & don't buy, but get a free day out and make over.

In my experience you can buy between £200 - £3000 depending what service.

These companies give you an ageny list to contact agencies.

These are platforms not model agencies. Good idea to do the searcv prior to going to these places or just go and have a free day out and don't buy anything . No one going to put a gun to your head to buy , it's your choice .

Best thin to do is play them at there own game .

They can't force you to purchase, they offer a service, YOUR choice to buy.
Most give you agency lists and you have to work at it, like any other job. Yes I agree they probably tell people you look great, your do well...... My local take away says it's the best, it not but I don't jump on google and bang on about it, my choice I go there.
I see it the ones that moan, realize there not good enough or feel they have been done.

Going back to my post on the 13th Feb.   Did ring and cancel.  Still waiting for my deposit to be refunded.  The numbers I have for them all go to voicemail.  A charge back I think.

Following on from my post of the 27th Feb.  Spent the week calling the numbers I have for them, all aren't answered. One goes to voicemail but no-one gets back to you.  Spoken to my credit card company who are refunding me the money.......

Lucky you payed by credit card. I did the same thing as you, but because I payed debit card I couldn't get it all back. I'm happy you are getting your money back now.

We have all learnt a viable lesson here.

I am currently in a lot of hassle with Kube studios. I had went for a photoshoot on the 27th of febraury 2017.
When i researched at home and saw that they are sammers, i wanted to cancel the agreement and they just did not let me. They also took payment from my card without my permission and i had to change the card.
I spoke to everyone that should know how to help with this including police, citizen's action,action fraud etc...
How did you get them off your back? They want 1k from me but i do not want to pay it as i wanted to cancel within the cooling off period!

Hi there, when was you working there for Kube Studios please mate? Is that the Manchester one?I went in 2 weeks ago on Monday 13th March. I was contacted my a Matthew Calderley who was from Model Scouters. Obvs working with Kube Studios. Took £50 deposit and the charge me £300 for portfolio. Do not respond to this number. Goes by the name of Matt or Grace at Model Scouters. They book you in with Kube Studios. Do not go its a complete con!! Likewise do not go to LFM either both have done me out of money. I know Im the most stupid person to be done by 2 of them in the space of a week

Hi Jake, I am so sorry to hear this. I contacted my bank and I had to send them the so called ' contracted I signed '  that the scammers gave me and the bank gave me back some of my money back. However, it was only the money they toke from my account they could give back to me. I couldn't get the money back which I did online banking with. Therefore, I only got 300 pound out of the 2,200 :(
