Got a call from them today, did not answer. This is about the 14th time in 3 weeks they have called me.

25 times in 2 days!! Can't take no for an answer

had this call too!!! As long as they dont follow it up with e-mails asking for my bank account details so they can pay my Spanish lottery winnings into it or  claiming to be the wife of a deceased African president who is having difficulty laying her hands on his millions and the use of my bank account will help greatly in return for a percentage of the profits!!!! Just a nuisance I guess, the price for us going on to comparison sites to try and get something for nothing!!

I got a call from this number yesterday with a women claimining to be from a compensation firm, told her to delete my number and don't waste my time.

I also went on Compare the market recently and have been having cold callers since.

Had a missed call from a 'The Claims Guys' and when called they didnt know who or why they just called me.

This being the case Im not going to volunteer any info so I have left it at that.

Had 6 missed calls from this number, the last one being at 8.24pm last night.
It is from a claims company who say they can act on your behalf to claim back late payments, overdraft fee's etc.

Called me this morning at 9am, I didn't get to the phone in time so couldn't answer it, but now I know who it is I won't be answering it if they call again.  Have just renewed my car insurance and used all the comparison sites - will be putting a false phone number down next time.  I am registered with TPS.

claims company - called my mobile. recently searched for home insurance through COMPARETHEMARKET - haven't used any others this time around so must be the meerkat flogging my details... they dont have that in their advert.

started with some speil about please dont hang up we can get you money back on credit card charges. explained i'd never had any late charges, then said oh, but you must have some payment protection insurance - explained no, and that even if i did no-one has been mis-sold this for years now since legislation changed in the UK.

apologised for wasting my time and ended call.

I keep getting calls to my mobile from these. Like everyone else I rang the number (from another unidentified land line) and it is something to do with claims. If you are getting calls to your mobile you can add any unwanted numbers to your reject list (if you have the facility). When they next ring the phone will reject it and you won't even hear the phone ring. It does leave a missed call message though

They wanted to talk to Miss Diamond (that is not me) and that's all. Wrong number situation :)

Received a lot of calsl from this number, I answer but get none in reply.  Don't know who they are or what they want, just wish they would stop calling!

It's a company called the Claims Guys, they are trying to scam people by suggesting they can get you money back on credit agreements or loan insurance that you may have taken ut. Don't give them any of your details. I made the mistake of just answering a call frhem 2 days ago and have now received repeated calls, 6 missed calls already this morning and 4 last night after 7pm. They just don't take no for an answer.

I answered the phone to them when they called initially - they said they could claim me money back on credit card and loans claims but I didn't really understand how and said I didn't qualify.  I asked where they got my number from as I'm registered on the TPS, and they said it was from a third party.  I said I always double checked and ticked the opt-out box. They said they got it from a comparison website but wouldn't give me the name.

I've since had 47 missed calls from them in about 8 days, which is absolutely disgusting.  I've told them not to call me again or I'll report them to Trading Standards.

Ditto regarding Manchester calling from a London number - it's misleading.

when you look for insurance from these comparison sites..it might be wise not to leave your phone number on any quotes you fill in.......SIMPLES.

Unsolicited call received this morning.

Guy on the other end was very polite and explained he was from "The Claims Guys" and asked four very straightforward questions:
1) Do I have, or have I had, at least one credit card?
2) Have I paid more than £100 in late payment or other charges on those cards?
3) Do I have any loans?
4) Have I ever taken out a Payment Protection policy on a credit card or loan?

When he realised I didn't qualify he apologised for wasting my time and ended the call politely.

To all those whinging about being within TPS - TPS does not apply if you give out your phone number to a company.  So, if you are precious enough about not getting sales calls to register for TPS then why are you giving your telephone number out on insurance comparison websites...?

It appears they lay claim to being able to actually claim monies back for you etc from loans and other 'overpayments'.

Sounds dodgy really and all hot air.

Im not happy that they are calling me while I'm at work and I will DDOS and Phone Spam their network number if they continue as they have been warned.
