Just had a call from this number and young lad asked for me by name. I asked who was calling and he said something like E-Financial claims. He asked again if he was speaking to me by name so I asked what is it about and he said it was nothing to worry about so I hung up.

been called over 100 times in the last 5 days and they don't listen when you tell them not to call again. even when i told them to f*** off they ring within the next five minutes. how do i get them to stop caliing. its from 8 am up to 10pm

I got the same number calling me constantly even after speaking to them and saying not to call again.  I've just been ignoring them.

I had a call today at 0935 from this number, wanted to know if i had any loans or credit cards.  I told him i thought it was rude to call people when they are probably at work..... guy said i had a achoice and didnt have to answer my phone!!!  Cheeky [***], i wish these people would get a life or simply die.

Amazing site... cos I have had 2 missed calls from number every day for the past 2 weeks... Though they don't appear to work weekends!!!

what a bunch of dog knobs these are wish they would stop calling people with there rubbish if i wanted to get what these people are offering i wouldnt get it from them . tell them to ring you back on your other number which you should say is 0121 do 1. haha

Got a missed call from this number but fortunately thought to Google the number rather than call it back.   I figure if anyone doesn't bother to leave a voicemail or call back, they don't need to speak to me.  I ignore any number I don't recognise.

Unsubscribe from text and phone alerts on comparison websites, this should stop the cold calling.

What I cant work out is why on earth do they hang up when they ring?

I have been receiving calls from this number at odds time and whenever I return a call just answering machine is there saying we will deals with your claim. I have not made any claims to no one !!!

I went on Compare the Market just over 12 months ago for a home insurance quote and started getting markerting calls from a different number which I set up on my phone to reject. 12m later I then started getting calls from a different number at the start of this month - again marketing calls. Now this number has started ringing me!! When will it end. BEWARE - do not put your correct mobile number on these website or you'll regret it for years to come!!!

They have called my mobile non-stop for the last couple of days and leaving me voicemails. I changed my car insurance at the weekend using a price comparison site.

I have used confused.com lately so I suspect they have passed on my details and I will be contacting them about this as it's not acceptable - I am 100% certain I opted out of receiving information from third parties so this is not acceptable.

One explanation of the London phone number from a Manchester based company could be that they are using Skype which allows you to choose from a number of geographic numbers that can be used even if you aren't technically based in that area.

Had a call from these people today, just after 4 p.m. They mentioned the FSA, that I might have been charged wrongly for credit card protection insurance, and they could help me claim it back. I wasn't absolutely sure it was dodgy at that time, so agreed for a claims advisor to call me tomorrow (I wasn't going to answer the phone anyway). However, they blew their cover by asking if I'd had any accidents recently that they might be able to claim for!

I won't be answering the phone to them again, but they are VERY plausible. Don't know if they actually want your credit card details, but I know that they DO want to know where your credit cards are issued from. My advice - as someone else said, Foxtrot Oscar. In my experience, random phone calls and door ringers are something I can probably manage without.

the claims guys. of course, calling themselves the claims 'guys' is aimed to give us all the impression that they're young, slick, reservoir dog two tone dress and ray ban shades dynamic gogetters when in actual fact, they are the [***] of devil personified. they call me regular, these idiots. first time i answered, they hung up. after that i ignored them for a while and then answered one day, asking them not to call me any more: the dude hung up. i answered again and that time, i hurled a load of abuse down the receiver. didn't really have any impact but i felt better for a while. how do i go about stopping them from calling me?

They have been ringing my partner for days now and not just once a day its a fair few times, I only found out today so when they decide to ring again i will answer the call this time, i will talk nicely and politly to them see if you can get ther name and any other relivant information bout the company and after obtaining it just say right now i have information about you and your company i am having you done for harrasment, they are worse than an ex hounding you ggrrrrrr
