Oh - that will be the lunatic Reverend Davenport and his cronies calling you. Read this other messages on this thread - theirs is a dangerous cult - avoid all calls from this number. Hang up on them and block the number.

Maybe you shouldn't have told them your address?  Should have just put the phone down on them.

Might be too late replying - they placed that post in 2012. These lot have probably got them by now.

What kind of number is this calling me?

Just did a quick Google of the rev and his church and the telephone number is identified as being in Maine, Canada.

Did it give an actual address? These lot need to be traced and held accountable for their actions.

They tried the same spiel on me and it was a woman who called me. She tried telling me that my soul was tainted and needed replacing, I listened for a while before I hung up on them.

Several missed calls from this number. Will not be answering them now I have read this.

I am sick to the back teeth with these people. How many times do they have to be told I AM NOT INTERESTED. They use different tactics to get hold of you and either they don`t answer or keep a non stop re-dial loop, ringing up to four times a day. I am in poor health and its so annoying to have to constantly getting to the phone for these parasites.   Its not only this company that does this, last week I had 23 phone call from various charities, PPI, surveys, and  from people I couldn`t understand as their English was so bad I can`t say what they wanted!  Seriously thinking of changing my number in the very near future.

I find these calls intrusive and want them to stop

It was like a vacuum sound, some kind of mechanical noise...it felt like it was pulling you in. It was opressive

I suspect it was the same lady who just called me as she used pretty much the same line on me.
