don't know who this company is,they  keep on saying  a parcel  delivery, told them they have the wrong number and wrong addres.. THEY WILL NOT STOP!!!!!!

Got a call today from this number 02084958734, a bloke at the other end of the call asked me to confirm my full name i said no, you called me so you must have my details...any way he said is this miss...... i said who is calling? he then told me because of the data protection he has to confirm he is speaking to miss.....so i said you are speaking to her how can i help?.He then told me he had a delivery for me and wanted to know if i live at ....... and if he can send the delivery there. I then asked him what the delivery was but he could not tell me, the only thing he said was that this delivery would be sent within the next couple of days. worried i google the number and seeing all the comments im glad i did not give these people any of my details. The fun begins.

I called Cap Quest to let them know that the person they kept writing to at MY address is unknown to me, ignoring letters did not work. Now they keep calling me from this number trying to get me to confirm that I am that person!

the same number rang me looking for a person who no longer lives here, which i told them 10 mins later my next door neighbour knocked on looking for the same person THE CHEEKY BLEEDERS HAD RANG MY NEXT DOOR NEIGHBOUR TO ASK IF SHE STILL LIVED HERE am now in process of contacting consumer watchdog and reporting them!

Sneaky rat bags called my frail mum pretending to be a friend so of course she gave them my address but not my number, not that it should matter as due to travel to/from work I am very rarely in but I have also found out they have been pestering my younger sister who has denied any knowledge of me and told them where to go.
I know they have my mobile but I have put all their numbers on silent so never respond, they try texts but again I never respond.
Am sure it must be costing them a fortune with all the texts and letters they send but this is one person who will never be handing money over to these clowns.

Had a calll today from the 01252576376, asking me personal questions about my personal life - Im registered with the telephone preference service and i am today making a complaint on-line as this is harassment and if they dont stop I will take them to court - how dare they do this to people!!!!!!!!!!!  

Everyone who receives these calls please keep putting this on-line,facebook and anywhere else where people will begin to know the sumbags!!!!!!!  everyone please look into telephone preference service and get registered, it is a free service to stop these types of calls and if they carry on you report the scumbags!!!!!!!!!

just had a call from this number looking for someone who does not live .asked us wot address this was did not tell them told us they where dvsl and when we asked who and what they did they pit the phone down

Just recieved a call, couldn't even speak english and I couldn't understand what they were saying so I put the phone down?

Calling asking for me and wanting to check my address for a parcel ( I am awaiting a parcel so confirmed my name and address !)
She then requested more details,( fishy) To which I said if they had the parcel they would know my postcode, and didn't need my D.O.B for a package,and just to forward it on.  I put the phone down.

I have no idea wy they are calling as I don't have any debts or owe any money!

just had a call saying they have to check an address for parcel to deliver for someone who has never lived at my address.did not give them my address as had many calls.these people are a menace and need stopping

On Wednesday, 9th Mary 2012, at 8.45 am, I received a phone call from DVSL (Tel: 02084958734), and luckily I have an answer machine that recorded the call, the content of their message was:" this call is from DVSL ,CALL US ON: 0800 522 6414). So of course, I did not return their call, because I knew THEY HAD NO BUSINESS WITH ME,PERSONALLY,BUT THAT THEY WERE TRYING TO LOCATE A PERSON THEY NEEDED TO CONTACT, AS this, my Tel no. was allocated to me by BT, about 7 months ago. However, I had received previous calls from DVSL asking for a named person (Lara), and from the BT 1471 Facility I tracked the caller's phone number, and here it is: 079 310 0194,and told DVSand asked her to give me her name and number,but she refused rudely,despite her demanding my tel.and name details and addressL t, so,to be helpful I told her that such "a person does not exist on this number nor at my address.". The Lady who was speaking to me, then asked  me again to give her my NAME,ADDRESS,ETC. I refused to give her my PERSONAL DETAILS, as I was worried about IDENTITY THEFT, so I was merely being alert. She did not like my reply and PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME ABRUPTLY. So, today, Wednesday 9th May 2012, I googled the the name DVSL, and low and behold I found this important information about DVSL, and thank GOD I did not give DVSL information that they were trying to obtain from me ILLEGALLY. Thank you all good people who posted information about DVSL on this website page.

Correction to my Comment above about DVSL: I had stated a Mobile Number as: 079 310 0194, whereas IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN TYPED CORRECTLY AS: 0797 310 0194.

Ignore the scum. They all deserve the business end of a shovel.
They are trying to get/confirm your details by employing various lies; package/mail delivery etc etc.

Complain to the Information Commissioner's Office www.ico.gov.uk and your local Trading Standards Agency

If enough people complain they will end up paying a big fine eventually.

Who is calling a pensioner on this number

sick of these people calling up to 3 times a day. I have caller id, they are wasting their money, i will never call them back. I have no debt, past or present
How do I stop them

Don't know who these people are but, like the others on this thread, they had my address and wanted to confirm date of birth and other details. I told them that since they had my address they should write to me. They are trying to use the Data protection act as their reason for not confirming the details of what they are calling about. Very dodgy sounding company
