This person keeps ringing me. They put the phone down before I answer, expecting me to ring back. I think they've got a cheek.

This person called me purporting to be from "The Health Centre".  When I asked how she had my number she said she had got it from one of my friends or from a magazine subscription etc., but wasn't sure.  I told her she was calling a government agency number and as such the conversation was inappropriate.  She then apologised and rang off.

Not sure whether this was genuinely from UK or not. A lady with an oriental accent asked for me by name. Said she was calling from the "Health Care Centre" and wanted to take some details about my health. We are ex-directory and avoid giving out phone number as far as possible. Recently, on doctor's advice, sent off for a "back care pack" from backproactive.co.uk and had to put in tel. no. Could have been somebody there passed it on. Anyway, they do not announce themselves as a commercial company and they obviously expect some people will take the call as being from a local NHS clinic or whatever.

Call from wellness centre from Indian sounding lady who asked questions about my health and then tried to sell me Rosehip supplements at exorbitant rates.  The web site appears to be a dummy and I suspect a scam.  I also am exdirectory but didn't think to ask how she got my address or phone number.

A number of calls from this 'indian' sounding female who said she was from Wellbeing Health. I do not have time or patience with these kind of nuisense calls so abruptly told her to what she was and put the phone down. I suggest everyond deals with gthem in the same way or ignore the call altogether.

i had this numver call me 10 times in 2 days on my works number,it worries me she knew alot about my health who is giving this info out. i rang 3 times to get this to stop but still it continued they wanted my card number but i never giveit out to cold callers.

This lady rang me today and then a gentleman calling himself Rocky They were selling  a tablet guaranteed to reduce my weight. I stupidly paid for two months supply .I shall know what to do if they ring back

I'm registered with the telephone preference service 08450700707, but still receive calls from this number, I never answer them.
Caller display is the way to go, see the number, and don't answer it.

Received a "silent" call from this number at 4:16 pm today. I have been registered with (the ineffective) TPS for a couple of years now. However I do lodge a formal complaint every time I receive a slient or marketing call. I received a call from a 'foreign/?Indian' lady this morning asking me to confirm my name. This I did and then proceeded to tell her I had no time to talk to her and, in fact, do not accept 'cold calls'.  I have just registered with CPR Global and this protection should be up and running within a week or so.  In the meantime I have passed the phone number of this caller to them.  Hopefully, I won't hear from them again.
I get very angry receiving this type of telephone call - not only is it inconvenient, they insult my intelligence in thinking I want listen to - let alone buy anything - from them, !

phone call today, very pleasant knowledgable "indian" lady, I stated would pay by cheque later agreeable to that. Gave me registered number as required by law 6377623, I can not check this, will now not order after reading other messages

Just received a call from the "Health Wellness Centre" address Sanda Wellbeing, 3 Montpelier Avenue, Bexley DA5 3AP.  My phone has been ex-directory since 1982 and I NEVER give the number out to anyone - certainly not Indian-sounding callers who want to ask me personal details about my health!  He wanted me to subscribe to a "wellness programme" When asked where he got my number from, he told me "a friend had passed it on".  What a bunch of liars!  I subscribe to TPS and have just complained about this company.

02086190071  Someone called me several times today but I am profoundly deaf and I couodn't make out what the young woman said (she wasn't English).   Trying to fathom out who it was and what they wanted was very stressful;   also I was busy and repeated  interruptions were extremely annoying.

Got a call today from an Indian sounding gentleman saying he was concerned about my health and was checking every "senior" citizen in the UK. Would not tell me where he got my name from or how he considered me to be "senior". I would recommend everyone who gets a call from these  people to put the phone down without hanging up and maybe large unproductive phone bills will discourage them from picking on what could be a sensitive and vulnerable section of our population.

My call was last Friday from Audrey, an  Indian lady from Sanda Wellbeing on 02086190070 of Bexley Kent who took medical details from me saying they were doing a medical survey. At the end she said I should take rosehip tablets one a day for a year to prevent the spread of osteo-arthritis and claimed it was a Government sponsored programme at  a cost of £14-95 per month .I said I would not buy the product until I had  checked with my doctor. Audrey said  as it was the last day of the survey, on Monday the price would go up by a further £5. This made me suspicious. I didn't unfortunately ask Audrey where she had got my number.

My mother keeps getting calls from these people. I may be wrong, but it seems to me the only way they can have got her number is through an NHS list of some sort - they seem to be targeting people with health issues.
My mother has recently started receiving NHS medication direct from a supplier in Nottingham. Does anyone else get theirs this way?
My main issue is, if it's possible for businesses to source private phone numbers targeted this specifically, how secure are personal medical records?
